Non-Profit Forms Grassroots Effort for Job Creation

The launch of a non-profit is announced. The Reinvent Me Foundation is a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting the reinvention process to displaced workers, veterans, and recent college graduates.

Even before The Wall Street Journal and the American Enterprise Institute began calling attention to the “human disaster” of unemployment, a group of concerned Virginia entrepreneurs and professionals from IT, training and development, digital media, marketing, and psychology had identified this issue and began working on a solution. This group of innovators who have used emerging technologies to solve real-world problems formed the non-profit organization, the Reinvent Me Foundation, Inc.

Folks, can we just get rid of the sanctimoniousness that surrounds the idea of "non-profit?"

First of all, if you can't make a profit, you can't hire anyone.

Secondly, the so-called non-profits take what would be profits and divert them to overhead. It's an excuse to run a bloated organization.
