Can he pardon proactively?

Yes, for any act up to his last day in office.

Interesting question. Let’s just say for the sake of discussion that he loses and loses big.

My guess is that sure, he’d pardon a bunch of criminals (all presidents have done this and most have probably gotten paid for it at least clinton we know did) - and issue a bunch of crappy E.O.s’.

But beyond that I would guess not much. Reason being is that as powerful as the POTUS is, much of this power comes because the various other branches of government whether elected, appointed or military appreciate the power and what it can do. The day he loses is the day everyone in Washington starts pointing their career compass towards Jan. 20 and the new regime. This, I think, would effectively any damage beyond that amounting to vandalism (like when clinton left) that could be done.

My fantasy would include this corrupt bastard spawn of a communist whore, being too busy attending Impeachment hearings, to have any time to further harm our country.

For what Obama and his criminal enterprise has done to our country, our futures, our children’s futures and the futures of unborn generations, JUSTICE is deserved.

This should not end with a final helicopter ride over the White House, instead, it should end with a caravan of prison buses filling the streets of D.C.

However, we now have the most ignorant electorate in the history of American elections. I believe we have the most corrupt government and media our country has ever seen. The dems are traitors, communists all, and most of our republicans are gutless cowards. So, I know I will never see my dream, only more nightmares.

Now, if Obama wins, and the bastard just might, I estimate that it will take me 6 to 8 months to sell everything I own.

Then, contrary to the wishes of my wonderful bride of over 40 years, I will buy a 35’ sailboat and leave this country. I would rather die at sea than become a slave and watch this country burn to the ground while we bitch about it from our keyboards.

I hope he will be so surprised and pissed off and "offended" by the loss that he will say, "F&*K this! You don't want me to keep going for another term?! Well, F U, I am outta here right effin' now, mofos!" and then he stomps off into the sunset the day after the election.

But I expect he will go scorched earth on us instead.

I think the ride will be wild. Buy more ammo, food, etc.

“I’m just waiting for 2016. We’ll keep fighting til then.”

If 0bama wins, there will be nothing to fight for in 2016. By then, 0bamacare will be so entrenched into our national fabric, it will never be removed. Just like social security is now. We will be a 100% socialist state, and there will be no turning back.

I don’t like Romney, and there is no guarantee he will sign a bill repealing 0bamacare. But with 0bama, it is guaranteed he will not and there is no way we get a veto-proof majority to override him.

Hate to be so glum, that is quite simply how it is.

You are not dreaming. You are experiencing a prescient vision, a glimpse of the real future.

That you think of as a dream is the probable reality

The primary factors are a House and Senate that guide Romney on a conservative course. It will not and cannot be a sharp veering right turn, but it will be a new course and the best achievable course. It will be a course of repeal and restructuring. It will be a course of legal remedies of current illegalities, jail, perhaps even death for the Gitmoites. It will be an end and a beginning. An end to Obamacare and a beginning on a new legislative effort to thrash out in public view a new course for health care will be on the agenda. There will be a new retirement progrm for those not yet come of age. It will place bets on America, the American economy and not on the governments ability to collect ever decreasing taxes.

What if Obama wins, but we also find the highest turnout in American history, and an unbelievable amount of precincts with greater than100% turnout?

If he and his thugs damage the White HOuse, or any of our National Treasures, in any way, I certainly hope that it will be documented and not overlooked and forgiven as it was when Bush was seated. Do we really know whether Hillary ever returned all the stuff she stole? Did anybody ever check it off a list?

Are we going to be treated to a “bridal-type” registration site for Obumbum at the end of their stay in public housing?

Casey Anthony wasn’t convicted of anything. No pardon necessary.

I think the man has a huge, but weak, ego. I think the juju that is headed our way over the next few months will do him in. And if it doesn’t, losing the election will.

This is an interesting thread. Ignore the results of the election for a moment. Regardless who wins each election from local to national, some things are predictable.

Interest rates are historically very low. If rates go up, the national debt becomes an increasing burden on every American. If rates stay low, the increasing numbers of retirees and fixed-income people will continue to struggle with low income from retirement savings.

Regulatory uncertainty, gov’t unwillingness to adhere to predictable Constitutional principles, and judicial efforts to create law from the bench will suppress long-term planning and investment. This will suppress economic growth.

House prices, dependent on employment levels, will continue at a low post-boom level.

High unemployment will continue to restrain economic growth because consumer spending drives much economic activity and depends on employment.

Extensively unionized public sector employees will restrain the quality while sustaining the high cost of gov’t.

Political influence in the middle east will develop in a new pattern, possibly centering on Egypt and Iran.

Chinese economic growth will continue but slow predictably due to China depending on exports to other, struggling nations.

US international political influence will suffer from confusion among the worlds’ politicians about who, socialists or traditional Americans, control policy going forward. At the core, this is an economic power matter.

The national debt will be a greater burden on growth and problem-solving as so much tax will be required to service that debt. Far less money will be available for discretionary spending and gov’t services local to national will suffer as Americans are increasingly taxed to pay for past spending. Future Americans will receive much less gov’t service for their tax dollars. This is the overlooked story of future “taxation without representation.”

I welcome alternative observations or thoughts.

If it looks like Obama is going to lose for sure he will call of the election, if it is close he is in position to steal it.

Establish martial law, declare the election null and void and allow only dhimmicraps and RINOs to remain as subservient congresscritters. Send the rest home with a fat pension so that there won’t be any disagreement.

Then declare himself Emperor of Greater Kenya.
