Fuel for small engines goes bad after a couple of weeks. What are we supposed to do with the fuel that goes bad or the fuel left over after our chainsaw or lawnmower blows up?

About 1 0z of xylene per gallon will significantly improve shelf life of gasoline.

I live on the coast of the GOM.

We have gasoline pumps around here that are marked "Marine Gasoline" and is 100% gasoline, no ethanol. It is available for use particularly for outboard boat engines.

It is more expensive but the increased gas mileage provides a 14% dollar savings for me in my truck. Many people use it in their cars instead of the ethanol crap. Gasoline with ethanol additives gives terrible gas mileage.
