I meant to add that our friends are greatly relieved to have their daughter and their grandchildren home in the USA. Both grandchildren were born in Israel. Their daughter WALKED to the hospital to have the first one.

Yes, even more amazing considering that this young lady was raised in a very privileged background. She converted from Reformed to Orthodox and has become a tough and strong lady in the process.

you, in particular, can benefit from reading this. THIS is a huge danger. it's what screwed us the last time. Conservatives sit around thinking, OMG this is so damn obvious that Obama is an inexperienced LOSER, who the hell is going to vote for him? and there he went and won the election. We think it's so glaringly obvious what is going on, the vile deceitful campaigning etc. but the rank and file aren't getting that. they are getting REALITY as spun by the MSM biased spinmeisters, and they have no idea that it really ISN"T reality.

Obama’s great skill as a demagogue
Is he’s able to make every dem agog
Makes Chris Matthews tingle
He’s real, like Kris Kringle
Yet, why is he loved in the synagogue?

Because they’re democrats first. And I mean that in the derogatory way as defined earlier in the thread.

The democrats are always screaming that they want bi-partisanship. What if Paul Ryan asked Nancy Pelosi out to dinner, to reach across the aisle and get America headed in the right direction? Here’s what would happen:

Paul: Let’s go to that Italian place in Arlington. The food is reasonable, they have some drinkable wines that aren’t overpriced, and the owners are a hard-working couple, eager to please.

Nancy: Are you out of your mind? The food is horrible, the wait staff is rude, they never serve lobster, and nobody famous ever goes there.

Paul: No problem, Nancy. Where do you want to go?

Nancy: Your idea sucks.
