It is a testament to the old axiom that erotic is based on what you DON’T show in a picture.

As a (former) long time subscriber to Playboy magazine, I concurr.

Nothing is as powerful as the imagination.(sometimes reality really bites!!!)

He married Lani Graves who was the singer for Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66, for quite awhile.

According to many internet sources, her name was Lani Hall. Perhaps you have some non-public knowledge on the subject.

She and Janis Hanson were the voices in so many great Brazil '66 songs from the 60's.

I believe that it's Ms. Hanson who sings the iconic Bacharach masterpiece The Look Of Love. Of the two female vocalists of Brazil '66, Lani Hall is the prettier, in my opinion. Herb Alpert knew how to pick 'em.

I don’t care what other people say the Sixties had the best looking ladies...

Hubby said the same thing last night while watching a PBS Ed Sullivan show.

I hope she's living in Longview because she wants to.

Back in the day when even instrumental music would sell to the masses.

A spin off of Basso Nova.

Alpert is a true giant, A&M produced some great stuff back in the 60s, namely the last albums of the late, great Wes Montgomery. Some criticized Wes for those albums, but as a kid, I loved them.

I wonder how many young men wanted to learn to play the trumpet because of that?

Oh nuts. I thought maybe you knew her! I've always thought she was such a doll.

Nothing against Janis Hanson, either; she was a head-turner too. I just thought Ms. Hall had the edge in looks.

Damn, this stuff was cool! This is the part of the 60s I miss. I think they used this song in the original Austin Powers movie.
