To: Mountain Bike Vomit Carnage

Anthony, the guy that abandoned her, doesn’t deserve her. He left her to save his own worthless hide. That dog wouldn’t have abandoned him if he’d been injured... Just goes to show why I like dogs more than most people.

The guy that put himself at risk to rescue Missy is the guy that needs to keep her. He proved himself by doing what he could for her and going back for her.

I’d never leave my GSD’s to die like that. NEVER.

Two points:

There is a road almost to the summit of Mt. Evans. Someone could have driven up there to go down tothe dog and then picked the dog and rescuers up slightly lower.

The dog was at ~13,000ft elevation. The climbers didn't start at zer0 ft, so they had to climb many fewer thousand feet than the title implies. It could have been a lot less if they took the road.
