Wow, there are A LOT of high school teachers that could learn a lesson regarding posing for mug shots in sex cases - she is just OUTSTANDING, even there.
“The thread got pulled.”
Yea, I was following that yesterday and shocked when it got pulled. It was a legitimate article, from a legitimate publication (New York Daily News, or something). Is our site turning Puritanical or something? The donations will take a dive if that’s the case.
And DEFINITELY Not Guilty.
“time has not been kind”
Dang. Tough crowd today.
That’s ok. I’ll take the leftovers
I need to examine the evidence closer.
You’re right. I don’t know why some folks are incapable of figuring out that we’re not condoning the behavior, but using humor to point out the ridiculousness of a system which takes attractiveness into account when deciding guilt, innocence or the appropriate sentence. That said, as a teenager I certainly wouldn’t have minded being the “victim” in some of those cases. :-)
she might have some concealed weapons.
“That said, as a teenager I certainly wouldnt have minded being the victim in some of those cases. :-)”
Lucky you used the word “some”. There have been some real homely ones too. They are the ones that wreck the lives of otherwise normal boys - so we must be careful who we approve of - it’s mean out there.
I wanna play “Hideaway”
Okay, I know and you know she almost certainly had him curled up and hidden in the back of the car somewhere. And yet I bet a lot of us had the same first thought...”He must be pretty small.”
Meth, probably, and no telling what kind of uh, medical issues...
Speaking for myself I wouldn't, and I wouldn't expect anyone else to either.
Please, smuggle me!
...and yet another thread from the same story gets pulled this morning:
I guess my question to the mods is whether there’s a new rule at FR against posting these stories. From what I can tell, they are from a legitimate news organization (Fox News). If that’s the case, I’ll stay clear of those stories also.
This was the last posting that I got to see:
Another thread on this was pulled. I hope this one is, too.
This has nothing to do with their age.
She is under contract with the state of Texas to teach a school subject. Because of that, as we pay her salary, when she uses her role as teacher to have inappropriate personal relationships with certain of her students, she has violated a Texas law against doing that.
Go right ahead, argue that the state has no legal interest in the behavior of its paid and contracted-with teachers with their students. Argue that the penalty for doing such should be weak. I dont care what your personal opinion is.
I write the reason for the law, so that people who arent DENSE can get the truth about it.

These people are denser than bricks. I have a feeling that it’s mostly women who are complaining. Everybody knows what those threads are, so I don’t know why people who know they’re not going to like them bother clicking. They’re just humorless busy-bodies trying to impose their view of the world on everybody else. It does make me wonder if threads are going to start disappearing if they disagree with JimRob’s view that Mitt Romney is the second coming of Satan. And you’re right, donations are going to start drying up if people get the sense that censorship is creeping in.
