It’s the volitional form of “truthiness.”
Many conservatives demonstrated a velleity to elect a good candidate in the Primaries.
RUnning around in 101 degree heat all day yesterday brings me to the realization that I need to start exercising and lose weight. However that wish is sheer velleity as of now.
I was looking for it last weekend. Based on the ads I figured it had opened already.
So we went to the drive-in instead. Sarah’s first time. You’d like it. You can bring your dogs. We didn’t bring ours, but may next time.
don’t think we have any down here, but Jules and Chan would enjoy seeing a film in the car! had to have xshub stop for batteries for the electric collar last night. i was outside in the flower bed talking to my lawnguy about what i need done, and Jules crossed the line where the electric fence is and was sucking the Roundup off the dang weeds.
xsboy leaves for school on thursday, so the plan is for me to make dinner for he and his cronies tonight. i am going to grill steaks, make twicebaked potatoes, green salad, fruit salad and brownies and ice cream.
Velleity
I thought that was a town up in northern California.
You can bring your lawn chairs and stuff, too. Don’t have to sit in the car.
They’re teenage boys. You can probably get away with just baking the potatoes once. ;-)
