Aly Raisman isnt the only member of the U.S. Olympic womens gymnastics team who appreciates Jewish culture.
Raismans teammate, 16-year-old Gabby Douglas, who took home the gold medal in the womens individual all-around competition as well as the womens team event, revealed to Us Weekly that her favourite meal happens to be matzoh ball soup.
As part of a feature on the gymnast, the magazine published a list written by Douglas called 25 Things You Dont know About Me.
Douglas listed her appreciation for the traditional Passover meal no. 13 on the list.
My favourite meal is matzo ball soup, she declared. The lists very next item also revealed that Douglas is a fan of Jewish recording artist, Drake, in addition to Lil Wayne and Katy Perry.
The complete list can be found bellow.

“No. 19. I’m home-schooled.”
I love matzoh ball soup. The only trouble is, I rarely get a chance to enjoy it. There just aren’t many Jewish delis around my neighborhood, or maybe, not being a Jew, I just don’t know about them.
Seven Brothers in Northbrook IL. Best matzo ball soup I’ve ever had. Like eating a chicken soup flavored cloud....
Thanks, that is not too far from me, but I don’t get out to the suburbs too much. I’ll try to check it out when I get a chance though!
After all, it was taxpayer-paid-for electricity that lit the gyms and heated the pools, taxpayer-paid-for city water, taxpayer subsidies for the roads they traveled to get to their training facilities, etc.
