Maybe we should start a poll about whether or not to ship small arms to Britons.

Who CARES what the stinking disarmed-and-proud-of-it Brits think?

The current issue of American Rifleman has an article about Americans donating personal firearms to Britain when Nazi invasion was feared. It’s sadly incomplete with no discussion of how most of those Americans’ guns were not returned after WWII, but destroyed by the ungrateful b@stards according to their despotic gun laws.

Anyway, the author describes a D.C. dinner party where a Brit correspondent utters,

“Americans need to give up their guns. They must become responsible citizens of the world.”

GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

At the very bottom of the article:

Law officials ruled that the attack was premeditated as the gunman had visited the building the day before the shooting.

Letters were found on his body - one in English and one in Arabic - which attacked America, France and England over their treatment of Palestinians.

It’s NY anyway. ANYONE would be carrying illegally.

That is what most gun control types don’t get. Laws don’t help because the criminals don’t care about the laws. They’re already carrying illegally and they’ll continue to carry illegally if new laws are passed.

If the old law didn’t stop him, a new law isn’t going to either.

grrr Well, of course, these twits want tougher gun laws in America. They’re so jealous, they can’t see straight.

I love Brits- esp Dame Judi Dench (& the man who played “Lionel”), the late Jeremy Brett, that magnificent woman- Betty Boothroyd, the former Speaker of the House of Commons, the HoC, themselves (speaking of something *I’m* jealous of) these guys are ABSOLUTELY GREAT! but they (the Brits) really need to keep their noses out of our legislative affairs. They’ve got their hands full over there with their own immigration nightmares.

Gun Laws don’t help because the criminals don’t care about the laws.

The stricter the gun laws in your community the more LIKELY their will be a shooting. The more communities Stick to the 2nd Admendment the LESS LIKELY the possibility.

Why? It's simple, The shooters KNOW they are more Likely to GET AWAY WITH IT in the stricter communities. They know they are likely to GET SHOT in places like KENNESAW where folks are more likely to have a gun TO DEFEND THEMSELVES.

The Problem with Liberals is that they Don't feel responsible enough to defend themselves or their families and they don't want you to be able too either.

The Daily Mail has more American than British readers these days. They have started adopting American spellings in their online edition I have noticed, and the adverts seem more geared towards Americans than Brits. Soon, it will be an American paper...

That’s true. There are 2 others, too...ugh, mind’s blank...one of the good ones (very reliable source) Another forum I belong to (& very rarely post at anymore because of all the commies & OFAs) has a lot of people from all over & they are *always* hounding about our gun laws. That’s where that opinion comes from.

I’m truly very sorry if I offended you, sins of solar empire fan. I really do love Brits. I’m not just saying that.

No, no offence caused, just pointing out that thing about the Daily Mail. For what it is worth, I am one Brit who believes that our gun laws should be more like America’s and less like our own.
