Suzie: Daddy, Daddy, our teacher has asked us to write a story on why President Obama should be re-elected.

Dad: That’s wonderful. You have a very good teacher.

Suzie: I asked her what I should write about, and she said that Romney was too rich to be president and couldn’t relate to the rest of us.

Dad: That’s right, Sweetums. Rich people oppress the poor and make the rest of us poorer. So, have you done some research?

Suzie: Yes. I looked up a lot of stuff and I’m confused. The computer said that John Kerry was our candidate before Obama and the computer said that Kerry’s wife was worth maybe a billion dollars, but only paid 12 percent in income taxes.

And then it said that his vice-president choice was some guy named John Edwards who was worth about $56 million.

Before that our candidate was some guy named Gore, and he is worth about $100 million.

It said that the majority of all senators were millionaires and that our own Sen. Tom Harkin was worth maybe $15 million, and that Harry Reid is a millionaire.

Dad: Wow! Snookums. You did a lot of work, but don’t worry your sweet little head about all that. You can’t always trust the things you read on your computer.

Suzie: But Daddy, it also said that Obama was a millionaire and Nancy Pelosi had a 62 percent increase in her assets in 2010 in just one year. Daddy what is an asset?

Dad: Well Sweetie, it may be true that some of the correct politicians are rich, but that’s OK.

Suzie: But Daddy, why then is it bad for Romney to be rich? I went over to Jamie’s house, and her dad said that there is nothing wrong with being rich.

Dad: Jamie’s dad said that?

Suzie: Yes, he said that the attacks on Romney were just silly and were made to cause enmity between people. Daddy, what is enmity?

Dad: Now Honeybunch, I don’t want you going over to Jamie’s house anymore. Jamie’s dad is a tea party Republican and not a nice man.

I’m afraid that if you continue to talk to bad people that you will not grow up to drive your Volvo to wine and cheese parties and to the local art galleries. You don’t want to be one of those other people, do you?

Suzie: But Daddy, why is it bad for Romney to be rich and not bad for our people to be rich?

Dad: That is a hard question to answer, Sweetcups, but I think you may be old enough to understand. You see, our rich candidates have pure hearts, but Romney's heart is not pure.

Suzie: I don’t understand that Daddy.

Dad: Well, you remember that story that I used to read to you about the beautiful young woman who wouldn’t force other children to give their cookies to poor children and who wouldn’t require other children to share their toys, and she turned into an ugly witch. Her heart was once pure, and when her heart was not pure she turned into a witch.

Suzie: Has Romney turned into an evil witch?

Dad: Well…. sort of.

Suzie: But Daddy, he doesn’t look like a witch. He looks like a nice man.

Dad: Snookum, don’t worry about all this. Romney’s heart is not pure.

Suzie: But if he looks and acts like our candidates, how can we tell if someone has a pure heart?

Dad: If he is our candidate, he has a pure heart. If he is not our candidate he has an impure heart.

Suzie: Daddy, I don’t understand that.

Dad: Well Sweetie, you just stay close to me and your teacher and you will understand. Yes, you will understand it all.

Democrat demagoguery against those who really make America work is perfectly exposed by a real educator. Daddy deamonizes the rich and the little children in college absorb it like a sponge.

Romney made his money in vulgar commerce, whereas John Kerry made his money the old fashioned way: he married it. And Edwards made his money by convincing nitwit jurers that insurance company money was free, like sunshine, and all they had to do was open the spigot to have is sprinkle down on his hapless clients, with a little of the overflow, about a third, finding its way into his pockets.

And Obama and Pelosi made money by doing official favors for people with interests before the government, purely for altruistic and noble reasons. Altruism rewarded, let us be clear, only shows that there is justice in the world, after all.

It brought to mind some of Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s talking points and what an absolute vacuum the Democratic Party has become. It sucks the brains out of all of its members.
