Tis the night before the primary and all through the house, who to select to boot out this louse. The Republican websites were spread with issues to compare, in hopes that we pick a conservative bear... Now, Napier! now, Setzer! now, Holck! first name Vinson. On, Fredrick! On, Manning, I do like your vision...All had exclaimed, the border, our blight, but first work to beat the dems with all might.

TOPICS: Local News
KEYWORDS: arizona; sheriffcandidates; tucson
Just having a little fun. Did not make it to the meeting that had these gents, and I really should have because our sheriff is an embarassment.

On the radio I heard Napier interviewed, and he was well spoken and educated, with lots of credentials, but was soft, nay weak on how his personnel would actually identity illegals without being " racist."

Setzer is recommended by some outfit I never heard of, has been a marshal and looks great in a ten gallon hat, but his website is remarkable free of anything substantive.

Holck has put a lot of thought into rearranging and planning his chain of command and has been doing the meet and greet circuit a lot, but although he knows quite well the outcome of illegas in our state ( very scary stuff), he doesn't seem to be quite there on the law breakers themselves.

Fredrick is going to walk an old fashion beat, but he puts at the top of his to do list, white collar crime and cyber crime, because he thinks justice is dispense too unfairly across our (racial/ economic?) community.

Manning reminds me of Arpio, and liked when asked the non-law enforcement question, about broadening Medicaid to include more people, he said, “this program should be funded appropriately but not expanded. I pay for mine and my family's insurance, you should pay for yours." But he couldn't make an interview with other candidates because he had two flat times, and although, he participated on the phone, I think the opposition party would chew him up when they hear about his full-auto machine gun shoot event.

Anyone out there made their decision? And what criteria did you use?
