Guy on the phone said this damage is equal to or greater than Katrina.
Stationary system, New Orleans getting clobbered. Rescues underway for people who "didn't have the time to get out".
Obama hates black people.
Just read report that a levee south east of New Orleans was topped by the water and deep flooding in area. Had a look around at homes and topagraphy using Google maps and have to ask myself why someone would live below sea level with water on all sides.
When Katrina hit we had some FReepers giving us first hand info from FEMA sources. Anyone see a thread like that?

Thank you :)
People thought Bush was the devil that caused Katrina.
Now it is time to say that the almighty god Obumbo is out to destroy New Orleans.
Can we be sure that this event was not orchestrated by EVIL WHITE REPUBLICANS using the dreaded SILENT DYNAMITE?
Now the liberals don’t have the excuse of “Well, nobody could have evacuated a modern American city” because right next door is Texas. Texas successfully pulled off *the largest evacuation in human history* ahead of Hurricane Ike in 2008 and got everyone out who wanted to go. Over five million persons evacuated in seventy two hours. Everyone said it could never be done, and Texas did it - thus forever proving the “you can’t evacuate a city” myth false.
What’s their excuse this time?
With all the hate filled wishes that the ‘Obamanators’ aimed at Tampa it's interesting that Issac took an ‘unexpected’ turn. Looks like boomerang karma to me.
Crescent Citys am radio station WWL am 870 has been taking calls as they did during Katrina and once again most of those call are from folks living in areas who were told to evacuate but didn’t.
So, where is “Heinekin Looter Man?”
From what I’m hearing, Plaquemines Parish is like 60 miles from New Orleans
Mostly because they think someone else (got a mirror?) will bail them out.
How is this possible, they started announcing that a Hurricane was come Five days ago!
Just now, Mayor Landreiu in a phone interview with local TV said an interior levee breached in Plaquamines Parish, not NOLA.
And so far, that has been what has happened. Subsidize a behavior, and you get more of it. Every time.
