That could explain Rule 16 but it doesn’t explain RULE 12 which is a blatant power grab.

When was the last time you were abducted by aliens? Because it appears that you've missed out on what the Republicans have been doing for the last dozen years or so. (Senior drug give away, no child left behind, mandatory ethanol in motor fuel, etc)

TEA Party wasn't around 12 years ago - it's only been a few years, and look at all of the Congressional slots that we have won.
We are not going to win every battle, and we cannot take Zero down by ourselves, we need a larger machine to accomplish that.
Get some perspective, man - we're gaining larger swaths of territory in Congress - you didn't really think we could get Michelle Bachman or Allen West in the White House this cycle, did you?
And Ryan is no RINO, just like Palin was no RINO - that shows they know they need us, even if the don't like us.
Screw them, let's use them to do the heavy lifting while we gain power where it really counts: in Congress.
