It's time to wave bye-bye to the Confederate flag — from the "Dukes of Hazzard" car, at least.
That's right, in a somewhat controversial decision, Warner Bros., the studio that owns the theatrical, DVD and licensing rights to the franchise, has decided to remove the flag from all future versions of General Lee.
But how do Bo and Luke Duke feel about this move?
There's no official statement from the fictional cousins just yet, though a spokesperson from the "Dukes of Hazzard" toy company confirmed, "Starting January 1, 2013, all 'Dukes of Hazzard' General Lee vehicles will not be allowed to be produced with the Confederate flag on the top of the vehicle."
We don’t want to hurt anybody little feelings. People living in this country these days are a bunch of sissies, whiners and crybabies. Political correctness sucks!

General Lee’s statues will have to be torn down, too—and, of course, more deletions from the history books. Got to erase history-—for the Marxists to take over the mindless masses who are unable to “think” because they have no knowledge of anything.
Trying to control the “concepts” children can have. History will be erased—as the Marxists are trying to do in our public schools today, so we have useless idiots walking around -—slaves of the state.

We have one history professor posting here, an associate of Glenn Beck, who has been shoveling the idea that the Confederates were “Marxists”.
He is of course a fool, but it still amazes me that this clown gets an audience. The dumbing down of America continues, this time from an alleged conservative.
I was up on “the Rez” once when I saw an Indian guy selling different flags from a little travel trailer. He had the confederate flag with the “End of the Trail” Indian in the middle of it. I’m still kicking my ass for not stopping and buying that thing.

Brooks and Dom Deluise even had their wives playing parts in that movie. Dom's wife was the school Marm and Anne Bancroft {non credited in the film credits} was in the church congregation on the left hand side when they were singing. For what the movie was which was Satire it was likely the best one Warner Brothers ever put out. Definitely the funniest.
What will the Dixie Horn Tune be replaced with? The French Mistake? Taking the flag off would end their profits in future sales.
For every reason they use to get rid of the Confederate Flag...they would have to get rid of the Union Jack, almost all of any British Commonwealth nation’s flags, most African and Middle East nation’s flags...and the US Stars and Stripes.

Blazing Saddles was on TV a couple of months ago, and we were going to watch it, but they bleeped every occurrence of the word “nigger”. It was unwatchable. I’m sorry, but the movie just doesn’t work as the satire it is without it.

I get the impression that they are sure if it is true or false but I hope it is false. Personally, I was hoping to be “punk’d” on this one and I hope I will be. The only good thing about this PC crap is that it drives more people to our side as time goes by but these people make me lose my patience fast.
