Mitt Romney slaked the Republican's thirst for a rousing convention. I didn't think it would get that good, but it kept getting better all week. Excellent! Even Clint. I cannot believe the way the MSM has dissed Republican women, minorities and elderly. Unbelievably petty of them.

Rise and Shine! Only 66 more days until we throw the bum out for good!

Awesome convention! I enjoyed every minute of it. What was your favorite part?

"As I awoke in the early morning,
To slake my thirst, it was my need,
I tried to rise but I was nae able,
Nancy Whiskey had me by the knees!"

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

I like this word. It brings back some good memories of young love.

And so I always bear the cup
If, haply, mine may be the drop
Some pilgrim thirst to slake --

If, haply, any say to me
"Unto the little, unto me,"
When I at last awake.

A little Emily Dickinson to start the day, after an emotional night.

Slake
1. To satisfy (a craving); quench: slaked her thirst.

Sure, like a milk slake. Just mix ice cream and whiskey and it’s just the same as that store bought Bellies Irish Cream.

It’s called Bellies cause if you drink enough it will be leaving your belly right quick like. Yep, just that way you’re thinking.

There’s also a rock called slake but I think that’s just by people getting stoned on Bellies.

Red meat, the right craves when we wake
But hunger, the Convention did slake
Obama, the boaster
Nailed by Paul Ryan’s “poster”
The line that I thought took the cake

The only way the Obummer minions will ever become slake in their centuries old goal, is when we live in a world where everything is free but us and "they", and only they, are in control of it all.

We must be always vigilant until the ideology that drives their desires has become extinct and washed completely away from our lives for all time.
