Mortified Jade Torry shed seven stone after first getting stuck on a water slide and then being measured to see if she would fit on a rollercoaster while on holiday in America.
The 22-year-old was left in tears when staff at Disney World in Florida pulled her out of a queue thinking she was too fat to go on the ride.
The mum-of-one, who used to eat three dinners every evening is now barely recognisable having dropped from 16 stone and a size 20, down to just 9 stone.

Everyone finds different motivation to better themselves. She turned out very pretty. Losing weight isn’t just about fat, it is also about being healthy.
I call BS. That’s a completely different woman. :P
I don’t think so. She’s just wearing make-up and she’s skinnier. Good for her.
I know a woman who lost 40 pounds when a guy at the grocery store, after looking at her drivers license picture, told her that she looked like Hillary Rodham Clinton.
THAT is not fat. She may be big, but you can see THOUSANDS of bigger fatter people at WDW any time.
The husband lost some weight too...
Wow! Amazing transformation.
That is fat, other people are just fatter.
That’s cuz he’s got to keep her now, and she now has options.
Damn. That much weight though, she’s in for a lot of reconstructive surgery. I know a doc who specializes in post-bariatric reconstruction, and the stories aren’t pretty. Jenny Craig never mentions that 40 gallon skin hangs off 20 gallon bodies like used grocery bags.
Man her hubby must be thrilled........and their sex life must have taken a jump up, too
That’s not fat? Hell man, she LOST 196 pounds. How heavy do you think fat has to be? If you can lose 200 pounds, you’re fat.
I assume that baby is hers. If so, then most of the weight was a result of just having had a baby.
It’s not easy to lose wight, but most moms lose weight after giving birth. She did it too.
Good on her.
What's sad about these cases though is it almost always leads to divorce. I've seen it a million times. A man or woman goes from homely to good looking, they get attention they never received before and bang it happens...they "trade up"
A woman at my gym lost 90 lbs..she would say how her husband was complaining about how much time she there and he liked her "better" at her old weight...of course he was 60-70 lbs overweight himself. She was overweight all her life, went from a 4/10 to a 8/10 (great bone structure was hidden under that fat), guys starting hitting/flirting on her at the gym ...well now she is divorced.
I think it is the same one. Look at the eyes and eyebrows.
I’ve known people who have had major transformations like this when they lost weight.
See #12. Chances are good that it’s not rosey under her clothes.
One humiliation not being enough, the writer claims that she had 2000 lbs. of excess weight to lose....
She is young enough and if it was done through an intense exercise program, she may not need as much surgery as you think.
Now she can ride “It’s a Small World?”
But yes, the poster who said she wasn't fat was a little confused.
16 stone is 224. 9 stone is 126. She lost around 100 lbs. Good for her.
I completely agree with good on her.
No woman needs to put on anywhere near that mount of fat when pregnant.
She lost the same amount of weight as I weigh. I’m 6’2”.
Usually but not always...depends on her age, how long she was fat, and how fast she took it off. The biggest problem that people have with loose skin is they take off the weight too fast.
There are multiple ways to minimize and avoid loose skin but in some cases with super obese it's near impossible to avoid.
I have seen men and women lose that kind of weight and not have severe loose skin issues.
Sorry about the mistake...above posts say 100lbs...about half of me.
I misread it. Somehow I got 14 stone stuck in my head, which is 196 pounds. Probably paused to remember how much a stone weighted, and just went with 14 all around.
Wow! She lost a ton of weight?? She must have been huge. A two thousand pound woman. Whoda thunk?
I notice there was a lot of butthurt in the comments section over that remark...
My fault. I doubled her weight loss. Big difference between losing 200 pounds and 100 pounds.
It is though.
She may be big, but you can see THOUSANDS of bigger fatter people at WDW any time.
That's true. The article does not say if she was one of the people who rent scooters because they don't want to have to waddle all the way over to the snack counters.
What’s a stone in real fat?
If you do it at the right speed your skin has a chance to shrink back, no surgery necessary. In fact if you’re getting hanging skin you’re almost certainly burning weight too fast and digesting muscle, bone and organs.
Simple expalanation: Lower photo, three days after the wedding. Top photo: three years later....
when you’re only 20 years old, your skin shrinks up more. It wouldn’t surprise me if she didn’t need anything done to her skin.
Now THAT'S some motivation!
It looks like they both went to the body shop, so let’s hope that the support they gave each other created a tighter marital bond.
At least she didn’t so to have Disney make the seats etc bigger ETC
A good exercise and muscle building program takes care of that.
In France it is 12%.
Totally changed his face.
Go to Opryland.
I go there every couple of years just to feel like I am on the low end of the scale.
You only weigh 100lbs?
“...her husband was complaining about how much time she there and he liked her “better” at her old weight..”
The husband must have been an insecure fatso who was complaining when the wife was trying to get in shape (for health and appearance). So, instead of joining her, he was complaining and probably depressed the whole time. Based on that info, I don’t blame her at all.
I have a hard time believing this, unless it was a little kids' ride or something. She's not *that* fat compared to the average person at Disney.
Must be tough on the employees at Disney. At times they have to do this for the patron’s own safety. But it’s a sensitive matter and I’m sure they don’t like to do it.
Women and men need to pump a lot of iron and make sure they are getting at least 1gram of protein per lb of lean body weight every day or they are burning off as much muscle as fat...they turn into "skinny fat".
1-1.5 lbs per week fat loss should be the max and NO starvation diets.
7 stone = 98 pounds
