Is it time for an Intervention on Chris Matthews?
b.b.e.b.

Posted on 08/31/2012 12:56:25 PM PDT by big bad easter bunny

Chris Mathews obviously has a severe drinking problem, the alcohol has taken it's toll; when all you see is racism and nothing else, the drinking has gone too far. It is time to get Chris some help! It is sad to see his drinking problem on display on national TV, why won't the people around him do the right thing? Please get Chris some help, at this rate his liver may stop functioning and the irrational will only get worse. It's time for an intervention! Or the tingle going up his leg may disappear forever!

Speaking of drinking, did anyone notice how Boehner closed the convention last night? It looked and sounded to me like he had started a little early on the post-convention celebration.

Who’s gonna conduct the intervention? Larry O’Donnell? Al Sharpton? Ed Schultz? That girl who can’t stop grinning? Toure? MSNBC only hires the mentally disturbed.

If there’s to be an intervention, it will come from the left. Leaving Shrill Chrissie in place suits Mitt’s purposes too well now.

Boehner sounded tired. I sure he had a tough week.

What pain the liberal true believers must be in now. They had it all, the Prez, good will, both houses of congress - it was their time to show what liberal government can do.

And unfortunately for them, they did. And the awful realization that their way does not work is sinking in on them now. Matthews is one big walking talking “cry for help” as he faces this reality.

MSNBC has gone downhill so fast that they don’t have the money or manpower to put out a professional show anymore. I was channel surfing, stopped on MSNBC for a while and say bad lighting, bad sound, bad cues...it looked like a cable access program!!!

By the way, what does “Toure” even mean? Is it just a made-up word? “Tour” in French can mean “tower, rook, castle; run, tour, circuit; ride, walk; twist, whirl, turn; stroll, wander; round, rotation; revolution; lathe, tool which is used to cut and shape (wood, metal, etc.)” per one online dictionary.

Sometimes the acute-accented -e acts as a participle (e.g., fiance/ee, one who is affianced, betrothed), but how would that work here? (He who has been) twisted, turned, whirled?

Yes, we saw Boehner close last night and immediately said he was lit. “Watch out,” we yelled at the TV when he stepped down to the podium surrounded by balloons and almost hit the deck.

They have all the NBC/Comcast money they need. The problem is bad producers, lunatic on-air talent and a Marxist in their front office. They think the lighting is really good.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the problem is alcohol. His kind of dementia has no TX.

He can’t be helped until he recognizes he has a problem - and he is unlikely to realize he does as long as MSNBC is his enabler for funds and recognition.

I seem to remember many many years ago before MSNBC rebranded itself, Hardball was actually a pretty good show that focused on the politics of politics so to speak. Then something happened and he became a shill for Obama. Oh well.

Hmmmmmmmmm, - - - - - ?

Would you say that Chrissy has been driven to drink trying to come up with reasons to keep on supporting the failed Obama Administration?
