Allen West Tells Reporter ‘I Don’t Want Your Endorsement’

You gotta love Allen West. He shoots straight from the hip and tells a reporter from a particular paper that endorses his opposition and tells him he doesn’t want their endorsement. In fact, he tells them to keep endorsing the guys that lose.

I think he is PRO Colonel West, and lamenting that someone might chime in soon and call him a RINO, something that would be wrong in this case, and a pattern recently on FR he laments.

My point is that if that's the impression I had about the comment I'm sure many did also. To me the statement represented his feelings of Col West as a RINO.

Indeed he is! I suspect it is the anti-war/military people who are fighting to keep him on the sidelines. Col. West is one fine American and one fine soldier.

I am a very strong supporter of Col. West. I hope he seeks higher office someday, because we need men like him in a leadership position.

I was lamenting the fact that many on FR will call him a RINO. I know this to be true. On at least one occasion, he cast a vote that some of the purists on this board disagreed with. Charges of RINO! flew left and right.

Sometimes I really think leftist trolls masquerading as conservatives meander throughout FR, hoping to foment dissension and disgust. Their objective is to steer some of us to a 3rd party or to stay home on Election Day. This year, this may be the only chance they have of getting Obama re-elected.
