Although many people believe the CFL offers a better game than the NFL, it isn’t able to generate the income that the NFL and many players either graduate to the NFL from the CFL or they wind down their NFL careers by coming to the CFL.
Dwayne Johnson, the Rock, was cut from the Calgary Stampeders due to a back injury. He must have thought his life was over at the ripe old age of 23. :)

His father and grandfather were pro wrestlers. The Rock appeared on That 70’s Show under his dad’s name.

I’ve seen some of those Canadian football games......no huddles and they play on ice. More of a finesse game.

Take any information from this site with a huge grain of salt. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the late actor Sherman Hemsley was worth at least $3 million when he recently died. But court documents in El Paso, Texas (where he passed away), put the value of Mr. Hemsley’s estate at $50,000. Quite a difference. I think the website gets most of its information from publicists and the gossip mill, rather than actual financial data.

BJ Penn's a bit further down the list, but not doing too badly.
He's a local Hilo boy here, and his parents have the family compound here.
He is currently launching a big new gym in Honolulu.
I had him and his 2 brothers in my high school classes (although BJ didn't stay very long).
BJ Penn Net Worth $40 Million
B.J. Penn is an American mixed martial artist and Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu practitioner; he has a net worth of $40 million.
B.J. Penn has earned his net worth as a competitor in the
Ultimate Fighting Championship. In the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship
in the black-belt category Penn is the first non-Brazilian winner.
He is a former UFC Lightweight Champion and UFC Welterweight Champion.
He is only the second fighter in UFC history to win titles
in two different weight classes. Penn also served as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter 5 reality show.
Nicknamed The Prodigy B.J. was born in Kailua, Hawaii.

I just saw where a high school football stadium will be named after Jim Meyers who fans remember as George the Animal Steele. He coached football at that school for many years. What a great honor for the coach.
