When I looked up vainglory in the dictionary, I was referred to the Democratic National Convention.

To prevent further grade inflation, I have re-scaled the curve. The highest grade will be A+++.

i can't say anything to my SIL, but the first thing i thought of when i read THIS, was that their move from Warren, OH, to Houston if anything remotely like it happens, is ill-timed. My brother has no weaponry. i think he needs to remedy that.

I must be a glutton for punishment, but I listened to MO’s speech. DrK was dead on....great delivery, but all bull$hit. She was not talking about the same man we all have known for 4 years. Worked 4yrs ago, not this year.

He would be in a better position in Texas since we are gun friendly, and of course he won’t be in the inner city. i had the paralegal in here this AM talking politics so i feel on edge about it all again. her relatives in PA are not voting for obama. but the virgil goode candidacy in VA is a bad thing and i am just furious at the @#^%^#$^^& purists who think that this is somehow a GOOD IDEA and they can stand on PRINCIPLE by supporting a conservative. honest to God, so you are standing on an ash heap of our country/democracy feeling sooooo good about your @#%^U&) principles. good for you.

My God I can hardly stand to read comments on FR anymore - the idiots who still refuse to support our Republican candidate are just infuriating. They are so filled with hate toward Romney/Ryan, they make me wonder if they will be cheering if obama is reelected because the “evil Romney” won’t have won.

At this point, those suckers would have voted for him already. My dem driver last night walked into the squad room right after I put the DNC on CSPAN. He took one look at it, turned his chair so his back was to it and sat down to visit with one of the guys. I asked him if he was dissing the DNC and he loudly proclaimed “I told you I was not voting this year!” We all just smirked. I turned it off right after that. I had to stay up to 11 when I went off duty so I did watch MO’s speech when I got home. My other driver is a Rep, he loved Clint Eastwood. I told him about #EmptyChairDay and he got a good laugh.

The situation in VA concerns me. This idiot needs to withdraw his candidacy so his followers vote for Romney. Jerks and their egos. Is he a cousin to Akins?
