Vanity - Did anyone else see signs that Obama had been smoking weed last night?
Vanity | 9/7/2012 | Self

Posted on 09/07/2012 6:27:44 AM PDT by DManA

There was definitely something different about his affect last night. I mentioned to a friend that I thought he'd drunk too much coffee before the speech.

He came back and said he saw clear signs that Barry had been smoking pot that day.

Can't say I recognize the signs myself but it makes as much sense as too much coffee.

Obama always looks like he is on ‘something’ but at the Obama Used Car lot Convention, all his top salesmen and women were definitely high on cocaine and crack.

Someone told me he was doing pot and crack with Larry Sinclair in the limo on the way over.

It's out there - prove you didn't do it, Barry.

A friend of mine who is deaf told me that Michelle came up on the stage and said something like “honey, can’t you lay off that on a night as important as this?” Then she hugged him.

Nope, and unless you can get an Amendment passed to require it, I don’t think it ever will. Congress doesn’t have the power to dictate that to the Executive Branch.

I thought he'd drunk too much coffee before the speech.

Cocaine would be more like coffee. A sleeping pill would be more like pot.

A drug test is required to get hired as a part-time clerk in a discount store. Not for POTUS apparently. Just as how you can't sign up for Little League without your birth certificate.

I’ve read two reviews of the speech this morning that used the word rambling.

Now I know he read it directly off the tele-prompter but we know from Woodward that he thinks he’s the best speech writer in the WH and must have had an important hand in putting the speech together.

The second time I read “rambling” made a neuron connection for me.

I don’t think you can look at him and say he’s been taking some specific drug. No doubt he’s on a complex mixture of antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, and other prescription meds that only Valerie and Michelle know about. In addition to the, uh, non-prescription drugs his friends might bring him. But he is certainly a heavily-medicated patient.

Speaking of Obama and Bidden possibly taking drugs at their convention:

>>>Nope, and unless you can get an Amendment passed to require it, I don’t think it ever will. Congress doesn’t have the power to dictate that to the Executive Branch.>>>

Clinton and Shillery arranged to have Clinton’s doctor fired when the doctor refused to give him a vial that was unmarked. With drugs so common, it’s time the Congress had the power to insist that the President be vetted for drugs.

My niece is a drug counselor and says she will bet her life savings that Nancy Pelosi is a habitual cocaine user. She said she displays all the symptoms, licking of the chops, bugged out eyes, uncontrollable hand movements, odd speech patterns, and wadda ya know.. when Nancy was speaking at that convention, she displayed all those symptoms all except the hand movements which to me was because she was tightly gripping the sides of the podium. Real freakin’ nice. Making decisions for millions of people and she is doing hard core drugs. But noooo, no drug testing for them! We will drug test sanitation workers but not the people who make life altering decisions for millions of people.

The 10 seconds of Plugs’ speech that I watched, he was praising Granholm. They cut to a shot of a female overweight delegate who was nodding vigorously with tears streaming down her face.

“”she displayed all those symptoms all except the hand movements””

I left the room when that woman walked on stage but I have never seen her talk without using her hands - drives me nuts. Did she repeat herself over and over? As tho’ in repeating her words, we’ll maybe believe her!!!

I know what you mean about the mouth actions - I always thought she had something caught in her false teeth. It was on plain view whenever she sat behind presidents at the State of the Union address. Disgusting habit but she’s disgusting anyway!!

Nice try but the Sink Emperor had him beat when elected in ‘92. Of course Presidents before the turn of the 20th century were probably prescribed ‘caine or might have had Coke-a-Cola if consumed before 1903.

I also saw some tears in the little coverage I watched. I feel like crying also but for an entirely different reason.

I do think everyone should be eligible for the Academy Award as it was sure good acting! Too bad their audience is too dumb to know they’re being lied to.

“I don’t know how he could get away with it. Todays good pot stinks like a skunk. Literally. Someone would have smelled it by now.”

One word: ingestion. And probably a prescription like Marinol if he’s doing anything like that.

Like others have said here, could be a mixture of various mood-altering prescription drugs if there’s any truth to any of this. Given his emotional immaturity and reports of intense, uncontrollable temper, one would think the pressure of the office could in face induce a need for mood-altering drugs in order to allow him to function.

Well, they could possibly refuse to certify an election unless he submitted to a drug test at first, but I think the Supreme Court would toss that out. If you want it, better start drafting an Amendment, I think that’s your only hope.

Not entirely true. Amendment 25, section 4 has language that could be construed to allow Congress to enact a law to establish who may determine that the President is unfit to discharge his duty. It could be argued that as a result, Congress could impose something like a drug test under the auspices that anything the impairs or damages mental capacity could be grounds for (temporary, at least) removal from office.

Am 25 S 4 - Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Well, according to that, it must be the Vice President AND this other body that designate when the President is not fit to serve. So, even with that amendment, Congress cannot impose such a condition on the Executive branch without the Executive branch, in this case, the Vice President, assenting and cooperating.

Sometimes people get Parkinson’s-like symptoms from bad, adulterated cocaine, e.g., Michael J. Fox.

BTW, one of my Hollywood girlfriends told me that a long time ago. She was on the set with Michael and he was snorting coke. When he got brain damage, she said it was from bad coke.
