in highschool my best friends sister had an Arabian horse Kabul I used to ride so one morning i slung the carbine over my back and went for a ride
i saw a woodchuck and thought id take a shot at it, after all id been to the movies, id watched cowboys shoot and ride since i was four years old
Ka-Pow! this is a horse, and a horse of course had never seen TV and didnt know who Roy Rodgers was
but he sure as sh!t knew he didnt like that carbine going off near to his ear
he reared up and took off so fast hes lucky i didnt flinch and blow his flippin head off by accident
now he was on a mission, he was going to unass me if it was the last thing he ever did, and it almost was
he tried to knock me off by going under branches and running through bushes and sh!t and now im Ready to blow his head off
eject,Eject,EJECT!!! i finally jumped off and tried my best not to shoot myself in the process when i hit the ground, i made sure my finger was out from the trigger guard before i punched out.
that was the last time i ever hunted from a horse... i found out later it takes a long time to get a horse over being gun-shy, Duh!!!
There is a carbine class of competition where the rider uses both hands on the rifle and none on the reigns.
Check out the video, for this pattern, anything under 20 seconds is very fast.
Knock it off, you still have Six all to yourself. (Give her my best, by the way)
Where do the spectators sit/watch from? Surely they aren’t all as accurate as the winner
This sport is fairly new and is designed with safety in mind for competitors and spectators first, so,...
They use very specially designed and crafted blank loads, the "dust" and "wadding" of which, only travel about ten feet farther than the range of the balloons.
The spectators sit a little back from the arena edge, behind a barrier, and are safely distanced from the action.
This is no pansy sport, horses and riders fall occasionally, but there are no gun accidents.
She is hotter than anyone in Hollywood.
