Got out for a while, low tide, birds should have been in the saltmarsh but weren't.

I found an Anhinga so stuffed with fish it couldn't swallow the last one, watched an Osprey catch a fish and carry it to a light pole, and then I found a democrat rally going on at the Publix dumpster enclosure.

That was my first thought. Even if he did find room for that last fish he’d be too bottom heavy to fly, lol.

I am seeing an increase in hummingbirds here in southern WI. I assume they are heading south in preparation for winter and they find my petunia baskets and hummingbird feeder attractive as they migrate. Little jewels that they are, they are fascinating no matter how often I see them.
