IS FOX NEWS WAKING UP?

Posted on 09/11/2012 7:03:39 PM PDT by DefeatCorruption

Hannity tonight.. Shoen (sp) responding to embassy attack today.."we are being attacked, we are under siege"....Hannity "where is president courage?" Earlier tonight I caught the word "socialist" on BOR's show in reference to obama. Dare we hope that "fair & balanced" will see the light? Will the cloud of political correctness be blown away? Or is it Israel?

MEMO TO “JIMMY” OBAMA: American Embassies are under attack. You are to blame. Why are you silent now? Are you waiting for America itself to be attacked?

I listened to the “fair and balanced Juan Williams” on that part of the show, the way he defends obama is what you would expect from obama’s mommy or his wife not from someone who you would expect to be fair and balanced.

Juan went all the way back to President Bush and blamed it all on him.

Fox news is not doing themselves any favor by having someone this pro obama as an employee.

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others

This is an outrageous statement from our embassy in Cairo. It is one thing to disassociate the USG from the comments/actions of an individual citizen, but another, to condemn the free exercise of an inalienable right under our Constitution as "an abuse" of the universal right of free speech. We should not apologize for that right nor should we call it an abuse.

The Embassy has legitimized or justified the actions of a mob that has invaded and destroyed our property. I hope members of Congress condemn this statement and affix the blame where it belongs, i.e., on a mob that has acted disproportionately to any alleged insult. We are just inviting more attacks and imposing self-censorship on 315 million of our citizens. Disgraceful and outrageous.

So totally agree! However sensed a turn-a-round, not much, but a little something, tonight. Oh yeah - may be grasping at straws, but remain hopeful we’ll prevail.

The human ambition churn, Hillary, will retire implicating Obama, that she was bitterly carrying the wSater and the message of the president she was duty bound to serve. She will imply that she did not resign to save the country from electing those war loving Republicans.

She is so heroic, don’t you know?

“Juan went all the way back to President Bush and blamed it all on him.”

Maybe there was more to his PBS firing than we know. Williams has a serious problem in the “intellectual honesty” department.

I use to think Beckel was strange; but, Williams has him beat by a mile.

Funny has Juan shows little respect for the people that defended him after the PBS slam down.

How dare anyone say Romney is not qualified.

Well, he sure as hell better start demonstrating it to the American voters. It seems as though he reading out of McCain's defeatist playbook.

“to condemn the free exercise of an inalienable right under our Constitution as “an abuse” of the universal right of free speech.”

This is creepy Sharia. We condemn free speech as an abuse when that speech insults Islam.

So, from now on any speech that says that radical Islam and Sharia are monstrous evils will be considered “abuse”.

Some speech is more equal than others.

Yeah, like Bill Maher’s film mocking religion. Christians are fair game for ridicule. But none of these bastards will say anything bad about Mohammed or Islam. They are afraid that they will have a fatwah against them and be killed. Only a few papers in the US ever published the Danish cartoons about Islam for fear of retribution. Islam is out of bounds. Intimidation works.
