I’m sad for you, too-I’ve found that loosing the links to childhood is a loss like no other.
Uh-oh-brain freeze-make that “losing”...
I think there aren’t enough of us infuriated by all of this. The local talk show guy said we needed to carpet bomb them back to the Stone Age. I would even be relieved if we would stop giving them 1.5 billion of foreign aid at a time(I’m looking at you Egypt!)
Intresting tidbit-remember I said the next door neighbor’s house had been for sale for so long for too high a price? I saw one of her friends (former friend, she made sure to say) about a week ago, who said she heard the neighbor was “thinking” of leasing out the place-because no one even looks at it.
Well, apparently it has been leased to a small, barking dog with patio furniture. I heard the dog barking inside at 0530 this morning, and saw the furniture, but no cars or other signs of life.
I’ll settle for cutting off every penny of aid and bombing them into the Dark Ages-7th century or so-give their society the opportunity to evolve in a more realistic and civilized manner this time...
My condolences.
I just heard that my old friend passed away today too, at the age of 81.
I am speechless. 10yo Skyler comes home from school today and says they discussed some guy in school responsible for the planes hitting the WTC. He says he was “good and evil”...I asked what was good about him. He didn’t know, but said Osama did lots of good, too...he KNEW this because his smart teacher told him and all teachers are really, really smart. Good grief.
