Computer Help Needed
Posted on 09/13/2012 6:53:51 AM PDT by VA Voter
I inadvertenly pushed the wrong combination of keys and rotated my screen orientation 90 degrees to the right. Now the top of my screen display is aligned along the right hand edge and I don't know how to reorient it.
I'm running windows 7.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the shortcut! That happens to our users all the time!
VA Voter - once you have the screen back to normal, Right-click in the desktop area, find the video or display properties, and UNcheck "Enable screen rotation".

Could have forgotten the technical stuff and just laid monitor on it’s side.

Is this any better now?

LOL! Back in the DOS era, we found a program that would display text in graphic mode, 90 degrees rotated, and put it on the secretary’s computer. She (not even blonde) came back from lunch, promptly turned her monitor over on it’s side, and kept right on typing as if nothing was wrong...
Joke was on US!
