A FRENCH magazine claims it will today publish topless photos of Princess Kate on holiday.
The tasteless sneak pictures were taken as she and Prince William relaxed by the swimming pool of a chateau.
Publishing the snaps is certain to cause outrage - and huge embarrassment for the Royal couple.

If she disrobes in the presence of her entourage, why should she be embarrassed about the general public getting a peek?
The royal porn family
sicko’s should stop being supported by taxpayers and get jobs
it’s 2012.. nobody gives a hang about seeing her topless from a telephoto lens.. we have already seen closeups of Pamela Anderson honking on Tommy Lee’s ankle spanker and the open leg shot of Britney Spear’s whisker biscuit.. a great big whoop on princess Kate’s hoohas .. plus Diana was better looking
I think she’ll be found to be innocent.
Shock? Not so much. I this an attempted to deflect from Harry’s recent bad press. Sorry, as a Mayflower descendant, I have little sympathy for the debauched lives the royals live.
Big deal!
Why are people so freaked out about breasts?
I don’t like the royals, but she is lovely topless and there is nothing vulgar about the pics.
Don’t be a bunch of titsophobes! SHEESH!
Beside Kate's breasts are just about the most perfect in size and shape IMO.
For the record, Ted Kennedy had a bigger cup size.
If the royals find the pictures embarrassing they can fix the problem by changing their behavior. Their failure to modify behavior suggests they are not embarrassed.
This is just more fodder thrown at the masses by the elites to distract the people from the the real horrors being perpetrated on society, the economy, and civilization. Better the steeple satisfy their base desires gawking at nude photos of a princess than contemplate the coming economic collapse.
I doubt she disrobed in the presence of her entourage, but perhaps in the presence of a few close friends.
I have the honour to call myself the friend of a few members of the Royal family - and I call it an honour not because they are royal - although I am a monarchist (and I am a citizen of two constitutional monarchies, so I think I’m allowed to be - in these countries, supporting the monarchy is closely connected to conservatism) - but because they have to be very careful about who they allow to become their friends. There are too many people just trying to gain some benefit from it, they never give it lightly. So if you are a friend, you are a close friend and you are trusted.
There’s a very big difference between letting these people see who you are, and being exposed to the general public.
That said, I think this is a fairly minor issue - it’s not as if the Duchess is being accused of ‘misbehaving’ - these photos were taken by somebody spying on her doing something she had every right to do - relaxing privately in a way she found comfortable.
The behaviour in this case seems to have been discretely sunbathing in a private location on private property.
I don't see any reason the Duchess should not do this if she chooses to.
Shame is with the person who invaded her privacy with a telephoto lens to make some money - and to any media outlets that paid that person for their actions.
I agree with you. Thank you.
It is the photographer who should be ashamed. He was where he could invade their privacy. Are there peeping tom laws applicable here or perhaps stalking? /rhetorical

Yeah that damn Harry over in Afghanistan working for his country. What a jerk. William flying planes during war...what a jerk. Come on Geron, I agree with you 99 percent but not this particular post. Big deal about the pictures. She was with her husband on vacation. I think that William and Kate are doing more good than not. Now his father is another story.....
They have jobs - jobs that the Constitutions of eighteen countries require them to do, without even asking them if they want to do them.
It's reasonable to think there's something wrong with the idea of monarchy, but that isn't a decision that is in the hands of the monarch or the members of the Royal family. It's in the hands of Parliaments. The law and constitution as it stands, tells these people - "You have a duty." and I think it's wrong to criticise them for doing the duty that their countries ask of them.
They are also not supported by taxpayers - the revenues of the Crown Estate go to the British Treasury, and the amount of money used to fund the Royal Family is tiny in comparison to those revenues - the only money the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge get from the British taxpayer is Flight Lieutenant Wales' salary as an RAF officer.
Actually, France does have pretty strict privacy laws - and the magazine in this place, can expect to be hit with a large fine. But they will regard it as paying for publicity.
The same goes for the photographer - any money he has to pay out will be less than he's sold the images for.
I didn’t know all that, I guess I always assumed they were supported by the taxpayers too. Thanks for enlightening me.
Yes, a lot of people assume that - and it gets said enough that it's not surprising. But what needs to be borne in mind is that the Royal Family, is not surprisingly, very rich - over centuries as the most powerful family in Britain, they acquired a lot of wealth - some of it in ways we no longer approve of, but quite a lot of it is 'normal' - they own an awful lot of real estate, for example.
The Crown Estate is the Royal Family's property portfolio and it's currently worth about £7 billion. But for more than two hundred years, it's been agreed that all revenues of the Crown Estate should go to the Treasury. In exchange for this, the Treasury agreed to fund the expenses of the Monarch.
Currently the revenues of the Crown Estate are about £240 million a year. Funding the Royal Family costs about £30 million (mostly paying for things like the upkeep on the Palaces, security, etc). That's a net gain of over £200 million a year to the taxpayer.
It wasn't always this way - at the time George III agreed to this deal, the Crown Estate produced about £11,000 a year, and he got £800,000 back - but a carefully managed property portfolio in the hands of people who knew what they were doing for 250 years... it has grown dramatically.
I’m an American but mostly of British Isles heritage. I’ve always been interested in all things UK!
Ha!
Thanks! That was most informative. It puts the royal family in a much different light. They’re a profit center rather than a sinkhole....
—Big deal!

They are just males
Visual presentations of female surface anatomy
elicits an endorphin response, in males,
that is not suppressible.
They go into a narcotic high
Visual presentations of male surface anatomy
do not do this in females
Much of society is driven by this simple observation
Men are obsessing over female surface anatomy
Women are obsessing over their own surface anatomy
Get over it
George Carlin incarnate ;D! There’s coffee all ova my screen dude!
In any case, something like this will not happen again when they start wearing burkas.
Post of the day.
Based on what I have read that they were on a private chateau, the photog may find himself in hot water. Their privacy laws are a bit different in France.
Europe is turning into one big receptacle for trailer park trash. I don’t mean this as criticism of her but a criticism of the people who earn their living by publishing these pictures.
What she does in private should remain there.
They do have jobs. Most of them put in more than a forty-hour workweek. They add an enormous amount of money to the state exchequeur, because their lifestyle, houses, presence, and activities bring in billions of pounds sterling in tourist spending, and cycle money through the economy in a classic Reaganesque manner. It's capitalism, baby! Believe me, they add a lot more than they consume in tax money, and the ones who don't, like Eugenie, don't get funded from the government. You can't have any idea how much money Zara Phillips and Princess Anne send through the economy on their own (and that's something I know a bit about). Kate Middleton and her husband pull money into the economy of the UK. If it weren't so, the government would have pulled all funding a long time ago, but paying for some aspects of the Royal Family is cost-efficient for the UK.
Funny how we have created this obsession over breasts by covering them up. In primitive cultures, even those with very strict sexual behavior, they aren’t covered up—they just flop around in the open—and no one is obsessed with them. But presumably everyone enjoys sex just as much without the obsession.
If they didn’t want topless pics of Kate, then she should have had more sense than to sunbathe topless.
Princess Blips.
You mean the Brits will storm the French Embassy?
Weren’t there other pics awhile back —
You don’t think people have the right to sunbathe topless on their own property when they are in a remote area that is assumed to be private and not able to be viewed by others?
Celebs should have sense enough to know that they are never safe from paparazzi- no matter where they are.
My understanding is they always are in the presence of an entourage consisting of cleaners, cooks, security, etc.
Well, let’s see them already!
Depends if the guy is hot or not. Women at work were going absolute bonkers/frothing over the "Olympic bulges/penor outline" website of attractive male athletes in London last month...
Men want them uncovered, women don't....many women are insecure about their bodies in general ..probably the same as some men would be insecure regarding showing their penors out in public.
“penors” Heh!!!
More revealing than a mood ring they are.
With the exception of security, you're wrong. They do normally have a small security detail present, but they actually don't have much in the way of personal staff. Senior members of previous generations of the Royal Family - like the Queen and the Prince of Wales do have large staffs, but even in their cases, nearly all stay at the official residents rather than travel with them. They might have had their Personal Private Secretary with them, but that's it.
The Duke and Duchess actually live in a normal sized family home in Anglesey, Wales - there isn't room for an entourage. Their official residence (currently in St James Palace, soon to be in Kensington Palace) is mostly used as a place of work for administrative staff, although they will probably live there when and if they move back to London. They are planning on buying a larger house as well (and this will be a sizeable one, suitable for the type of entertaining they are expected to have) but at the moment, there's nothing at all unusual about their home. I can't show you photos for security reasons, but it's a normal sized two storey home. I think they do have a cleaner, but one who comes in a couple of times a week, not live in staff.
Not bad... kinda meager... I prefer them more roBUST.
But then Monster Knockers ain’t exactly a prereq to be Princess, eh?
Honestly, she seems like a sweet gal and up for the job.
But there will never be another Diana, Princess of Wales. She truly was the kind they write fairy tales about.
Some charity - or charities - will have a nice sum of money coming.

See folks ! All life's BIG questions are eventually answered right here at FR !
