A Football QuestionI think she qualifies as a Mid-western rhetorician!Last year.....after the Packers / Bills game, Buffalo released quarterback Trent Edwards.
During the Packers / Eagles game, the Packers injured Philadelphia quarterback Kevin Kolb. Philadelphia then had to play backup quarterback Michael Vick.
During a playoff game against the Eagles, the Packers injured Michael Vick and another backup was needed.
After the Packers / Cowboys game, Dallas fired Wade Phillips and most of his staff .
After the Packers / Vikings game, Minnesota fired Brad Childress and most of his staff.
Four weeks after losing to the Packers, the 49er's coach Mike Singletary and most of his staff were fired and replaced.
During the Bears Playoff game, the Packers injured Jay Cutler and backup Todd Collins forcing the Bears to go with 3rd string quarterback Caleb Hanie.
So here's the question..................
Is it just me, or did the Packers create more jobs last year than Obama?
Who read their email during the Packer game?

And a stupid one at that. Honestly, there is no proof he has more than a thimble of gray matter. Flunked out of college, cheated his way into another school, never showed up for classes, had someone else write books for him, yeah, he’s a real brainiac. He can read, but so can every kid in second grade.
When I think rhetorician, I think WF Buckley. That man could speak as well as write.

We had a good HS game on last night. Down, 7-0 with 4 minutes left one team blocked a field goal and then executed a fake punt to set up a TD.
They went for death-or-glory and made the 2 pt conversion.
Unfortunately, they left about 2 minutes, enough for the other team to make a FG drive. The kid who had his earlier attempt blocked made the winning FG for a 10-8 voctory.
That is dang freaky!

Yep and sooo true. First things I said when I heard about Libya......”Carter Jr.” and “Carter, part two”.
Took Missy to the vet yesterday. They confirmed heart disease and started her on meds. Benazepril. We are hoping that will be all for awhile, but this developed rather fast. They say her at the end of July and didn’t spot a thing. Of course, my husband didn’t tell them about the difficulty breathing as he is clueless. X-ray showed an enlarged heart, but not terribly enlarged. She does not need diuretics yet, which is good. So we are hoping this helps and she can enjoy life again.
Took her for a ride this morning, last two trips for her were to the groomer and vet, so she was reluctant to go with me. She seemed to enjoy it though.

Yeah, it was a pretty good 7-0 game. Both sides made some long plays, but neither was getting any points.
It’s been beautiful all week, but now some rain is coming in today. I’m hoping it either moves through early or holds off till later. There’s a home game tonight for my Jayhawks.
The Spartans, the school where my taxes and my daughter go, is 2-0 for the first time in 15 years. They generally are lucky to win one game a year. One of the largest schools in the entire PIT area, but sucky at football.
Good, I’m glad they got her diagnosed and started on some meds. Watch her weight. Have you seen the Incredible Dr. Pol on TLC yet? Great show about a vet in Michigan.
