Both of these movies were released on July 13 of this year.
A few months ago, I wrote about how at first glance, The Obama Effect appeared to be some kind of parody video. Sadly (for Obama supporters), it was a very real, but fruitless, attempt to recapture some of the 2008 Obamamania that has long since faded.
It appears that the vast majority of Americans couldnt sit through an hour and a half of people swooning over Obama on screen. After all, we get enough of that when we flip on the news.

Im not attempting to say that this comparison will be of any predictive value at the polls come November, but it certainly is interesting to note the shocking disparity.
It also poses an interesting question.
Judging by this small case study, which side of the political spectrum do you think has the more motivated electorate this time?

Along the same lines, the Clint Eastwood movie, ‘Trouble With the Curve’, hits theaters September 21. Hollywood has been in a huge slump, crying about low attendance for their always leftist oriented prattle, and running their mouths about eeevil Conservatives. Bet you Eastwood blows them out of the water.

went to see 2016 this afternoon - didn’t look like it was going to make it to Maine - but it’s all over the place. The theater I went to has already been playing it for 2 weeks and counting. I asked how much longer it would run - they said, as longs it’s making money.”
Now this is in a town of less than 3,000 - and the whole county is less than 40,000.
That bodes well.
