I think that Romney is trolling the left on this. I this that he arranged for this video to be "leaked", just to watch the left and their MSM minions go absolutely apoplectic over it. It is working. The only people it is really pissing off are the ones who wouldn't be voting for him anyway.

Also, that disclosure now would preferable to one later.

I am actually proud he said this, and about what he said of the Palestinians. Anyone that will ask me, I’ll tell them. The truth hurts. It hurts the guilty worst. Ploys about campaign ‘duplicity’ etc are just subterfuge and obfuscation. Their complaints should be me with questions about ‘why the truth that Mitt spoke is wrong’.

The Romney campaign didn’t release this. There is already a full chronology of this video’s progress through the interwebz. Saying that, if the campaign would stand by his statements it would help him. We SHOULD be arguing about the dangers of dependency state. This is a good debate to be having.
I told my wife this morning that if this is a ‘gaffe’ then Romney needs to come up with a new one about once a week from now til election day. This statement has resonated better with more Republicans and Independents and even some honest democrats, than anything else he has said so far.
Evidently it’s one of the few ways to get national media coverage.
Part of me thinks that he isn’t that smart. Or at least smart enough to realize that such a troll could seriously backfire.

I do believe what they are putting out there is only part each of Romney”s statement. They are leaving off the preface,or conclusion to each statement.When that is done it can look horrible by itself, when in reality it is not.That is why he asked for the whole tape to be put out. Just my opinion.
You may be right. If so its a very high risk strategy. The percentage of takers in the voter pool is much, much higher than it was when Reagan ran against welfare queens in 1980.

Morris claims Obamination is now prefacing the campaign of traditional democrat values vs extreme Republican values and the message is resonating.
Too much coincidence between the content of Dick Morris words and the sudden release of this tape. Of course the Democrat media formerly known as the main stream media will continue to twist Mitts words unfavorably.

That is exactly what the media is trying to do. Anything Mitt says they will try and turn it into a “gaffe”. The msm is in full support of Obama and are helping in anyway they can.
If you’re going to do a vanity, don’t apologize. There is nothing to be sorry for. FR allows for it, you post it in the correct forum, and people who don’t want to read vanities don’t have to click on it.
I like vanity posts. They are different from the other things I can read almost anywhere.
