I'm diverse so I'd say Mrs. Adam Cartwright...that likes to fish, hunt, ride and shoot....and would adore Hop Sing to do the cookin'.
I ran away from home when I was 6 to go be a mountain man. Didn’t get any farther than the top of grandpa’s woodshed. Twas ok, though. I still had some things to learn.
They got the whole town out to look for me. I watched it from my perch.
Some not too happy people. I earned my stripes that day....
I haven’t missed an issue in years.
Could be useful to preppers ping?
I purchased an issue of this once a year ago or so. It was quite interesting.
Kewl. Thank you for sharing this info.
Thanks. Bookmarked.

I love this kind of stuff, I remember being enthralled by my grampa’s copy of the Foxfire Book when I was little. My husband got me a few anthologies of it just after the election, and I should probably add this magazine to beef up the ol’ knowledge base.
......”I remember being enthralled by my grampas copy of the Foxfire Book”....Me too. I had the whole series of the Foxfire books years ago and learned so much on how the oldtimers did things with what they could gather from the woods.
I love them but can’t quite decide whether they fill me with inspiration or a sense of overall modern uselessness. LOL
.......”love them but cant quite decide whether they fill me with inspiration or a sense of overall modern uselessness.”......Ha ! so true...by the way don’t tell anybody else but used copies of the Foxfire books are for sale used on Amazon and for cheap.. The best of the series is book number one and they sell it for about $4.00 + $4.00 shipping. I’ve bought used from them no problems, . ‘Can’t beat that with a stick’
ping

I’ve got my Boy Scout Handbook, circa 1965.
