Americans strongly believe that there is too much government dependency in the country today. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 64% of Adults think there are too many Americans dependent on the government for financial aid. Just 10% think not enough Americans are dependent on the government, while 16% say the level of dependency is about right.
The survey of 1,000 Adults was conducted on September 18-19, 2012 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
Obama wants to create more and more dependency. The media is doing a good job of smothering Romney’s message though.
I like the results of the other polls to the right on that page too.
If Romney is going to hammer it, I would hope he would start soon. This is the defining moment of this election. If Obama/Dems?MSM succeed in portraying Romney the way they want on this issue, it is over.
The time for push back is now. Turn this issue to your advantage and run offense with it.
This is low hanging fruit. If Romney/Ryan/GOP can’t take advantage of this then there is no hope and there will be no change.
I remember Rush saying that compassion is not how many people are helped by the government, but how many no longer need government help. I think it was one of his undeniable truths.
“This is low hanging fruit. If Romney/Ryan/GOP cant take advantage of this then there is no hope and there will be no change.”
I agree completely. we will see how he plays it, so far I haven’t see n or heard much.
