Great news -
I find it stunning that anyone said that in real life-maybe he thought he was acting in a comedy?
I’m hoping to hear later today or tomorrow that the customer is going to go our way-I’m working for free until then, but it is worth the investment in my time for the chance of several months of work I will be paid for...
My favorite plumbing contractor, who is also a friend has raised his asking prices too high for such hard times-he always has plenty of repair work-bread and butter work-so I guess he doesn’t care about the heavier stuff-I’m not even going to tell him I’m putting together a bid.
Yahoo!
(Contractor sounds reasonable, what’s the homeowner like? )
Or should that be, “What does the homeowner like?”
Well, I haven’t met the customer yet, but if we get the job, we will met with him soon enough-it is an extensive remodel-lots of tear-off/tear out-several rooms are going to be pretty much gutted..
Just said a prayer that it all works out for you.
It was announced at mass tonight that Bishop Matthew Clark has officially retired and the Bishop of Syracuse is our interim Bishop/overseer until the Pope makes an official appointment. Took effect yesterday. OMGosh.....we have waited YEARS for this day. I sat in the pew in stunned silence. Wow. Finally. Amazing. I am praying for a conservative Bishop.
I even asked some questions of Fr. Bill after mass, no other information. Fr was stunned himself. No warning, just the announcement that came yesterday.
Meant to ping you, too. See above post.
Congratulations! That is a blessing.
Wow.
This will be very interesting to say the least.
Praying for you guys that you get a hard liner up there!
Yes, it is. I am feeling optimistic.
Did you see this week’s bulletin? I started reading and cringing, then I realized Fr. Brian had written it. He is quite an amazing man.
Even a hardliner will have trouble shaping things up.
heading over to the website.....
