BAKERSFIELD (AP) Bakersfield police say bones found by gold miners in 2008 and 2009 belong to a 29-year-old stripper who was strangled by her fiance.
KBAK-KBFX television reports testing has determined the right femur and left pelvis bones match the DNA of Azita Nikooei who disappeared in 2004.
Police say the bones were extremely bleached...
My original thought too. Might have had something to do with lack of corpus delicti...

There are 10 million reasons why a woman shouldn’t become a hooker,some moral,some purely practical.Among the practical ones is that fact that hookers are about 1,000 times more likely to be murdered than are women who *aren’t* hookers.

I’ve driven through the Mojave Desert in late August. It was very hot to say the least. But there’s one place hotter. It would be a shame if someone kidnapped this guy and dropped him off in the middle of Death Valley in July. (snicker)
