One good thing happening these days is that Obama can’t keep his foot out of his mouth. He is in dire need of a pocket sized teleprompter.

“bumps in the road”

“eye candy”

Sheesh.....I could have written his responses for him : )

So we are going to pay other countries to open their markets in hopes of putting their people to work. Meanwhile lowering our own tariffs has put 25% of our people out of work.

This is exactly why today’s article saying people trusted Obama more than Romney to fix the economy actually has some credibility.

Both candidates are clueless.

Uh, no.

1) Romney will attempt to fix our economy.

2) Obama is furiously trying to destroy the middle class.

Yes with the wrong prescriptions. More free trade with countries with excess cheap labor isn't going to put people in the U.S. back to work. Cutting people's safety net, before you address the structural issues in the economy is going to make things worse not better. And I don't think he is very serious on energy when he calls for a 2 year approval process for existing site additional nuclear reactors.

"2) Obama is furiously trying to destroy the middle class.

I don't think he is. It's just Obama is just as clueless as Romney. And he wasted the stimulus funds on crony capitalism and government jobs instead of things that would help.

At least Obama hasn't made any free trade deals. Doing nothing is better than moving forward in the wrong direction.

And I still can’t bring myself to vote for either.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. It isn’t about cluelessness with Obama, it is about carefully planned evil intent. Right now, I would give Obama an A + on destroying the economy.

He’s doing fewer and fewer “talks” without the tele. Is there something wrong? Too many drugs? A brain injury acting up? (scare)
Already talks about the debate. That they are giving him the questions ahead of time.....Sounds to me like a “special needs” child’s IEP.

You know he’s a Jinnie’s Az!

thanks for providing the actual link, which w4women left out

I think for any President trying to say something about what good any kind of American foreign aid can do, Romney scored higher on some truths about it than anyone since Reagan

that said, my own belief is that he may be more hopeful and confident about what American foreign aid can achieve than is actually possible

the fact is that among the nations that were considered “3rd world” or “undeveloped” in the 1960s, those who were among the least per-capita recipients of foreign aid are among those whose economies have risen the most and those who were among the largest per-capita recipients of foreign aid have had the smallest levels of economic growth

in other words, foreign aid was not the most essential factor in moving 3rd world and undeveloped nations from poverty to economic growth

I think the biggest truth is that our example alone is enough and that doesn’t cost a dime

Thanks for the ping, onyx!

That was a very good speech and no teleprompter from what I could see.

If you want to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics. We have collected our studies with threads, links, and discussions on the Agenda 21 thread which can be found here:

Post 128 of the Action Thread is a summary of the history of Agenda 21, “what they are doing”, “what to do about it” and a good bibliography for further reading.
