Thank you for the links on Romney’s push to audit the FED.

BTW “the differences” diagram is not mine, it’s on the Virgil Goode campaign site and I’ll send them the links RE: Romney on the FED.

Perhaps you missed this issue.

As you may or may not know by now, Congressman Virgil Goode (VA-05) gave $150,000 of tax payer’s dollars to the producer and co-writer of a soft core porn film that came out in 2003. At the end of the film, during the credits, “Congressman Virgil Good and his wife Lucy Goode” are named personally under the heading, “The Producers Wish to Thank the Following”. Goode’s very own Press Secretary even stars in the film!

The film, entitled “Eden’s Curve”, depicts many graphic hetero- and homosexual sex scenes as well as drug use, violence, and threesomes. While, this ordinarily would not be a problem within the world of cinema, I find it troubling that the bigoted Congressman Goode gives tax dollars to have themes portrayed that he publicly and politically denounces.

Virgil Goode attacked Perriello for not coming out strongly against gay marriage and for being “out of touch” with Virginia Southside voters. I wonder how many of Goode’s current constituents would approve of this film or that they paid for it!

What does this say about Goode’s moral compass? Gay sex, violent sex, and threesomes are appropriate behaviors so long as no one gets married? How about his honesty or management skills? It is acceptable fund a friend’s film project so long as you use hard-working, middle and lower class Virginia taxpayer dollars?”

If you promote this Goode clown then you promote
a second term of Obama. Getting Obama out requires a
candidate that can win. This ain’t fantasy football.

If you set out to lose you will certainly succeed.

When evil wins over evil

I'm sorry, but distorting Romney into evil or =Obama only shows a desperation to justify a wrong position.

I think Jim Robinson had it right in calling Romney a "liberal progressive abortion/homosexual pushing Republican." Your mileage may vary.

NATIONAL RIGHT TO LIFE ENDORSES GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY

WASHINGTON – Determined to secure a pro-life victory in the November election, which will decide the fate of unborn children for decades to come, the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), the federation of 50 state right-to-life affiliates and more than 3,000 local chapters, today endorsed Mitt Romney for President of the United States.

“On pro-life issues, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama provide a stark contrast. As the country’s most pro-abortion president, Barack Obama has pursued a radical pro-abortion agenda,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “It is now time for pro-life Americans to unite behind Mitt Romney. For the sake of unborn children, the disabled, and the elderly, we must win.”…

Is a Mittens victory "winning"?

It puts Obama out of office, doesn't it?

Yup. Pretty low bar there.

Would you prefer he remain in office?

Nope. I don't like liberal progressive abortion/homosexual pushers in office.

If you expect there to be elections after this one, it might be nice to have viable conservative candidates in them.

Do you agree?

That's their choice - the NRLC is not the pope of pro-life, and I still think Jim had it right.

I think when you walk into the voting booth, you will disregard your pride, and do the right thing.

If you have read the 100 plus comments, you should know what the right thing to do is.

When the enemy has advanced his agenda beyond control, you must cut him off, Voting Romney is a stop gap strategy to do that, in the ensuing four years, we can strengthen the conservative movement and replace him with one more suitable, like LTC West.

We have to answer for the result of our actions. If your action here - advocating for Virgil - is successful way beyond all reasonable expectations, the outcome is an evil regime stays in power. And you will have acted to further that outcome.

I appreciate what you are saying. But I maintain that my vote is an exercise of my freedom as an American citizen and thus is never "wasted" nor does it promote another candidate I did not vote for.

No one, me included, has to vote for Obama or Romney. If either of them get elected, it's because people voted for them. I, and anyone else that votes for someone other than Obama/Romney, will not be responsible for their being or not being in office. If I cast my vote for X, it's because I want X for President. At any rate, I'm not voting for anyone (Virgil Goode included) simply because they are "not as bad as" Obama.

There is a good candidate on my ballot, and I'm going to vote for him.

God bless you D-fendr!!!

OK so in one corner we have a “man” who voted three times to prevent any care of babies born alive after abortions because it would inconvenience the mother and require a pediatrician to be called. A man who doesn’t want his daughters punished with a baby.
In the other hand we have a man who has been consistent in his position on abortion since 1994. Who believes it is the wrong choice but that it is legal and has been for many years. He states his beliefs don’t trump the law. (Big contrast to Obama here!) So I am alone in seeing that there is a clear difference between these men?

From Wikepedia “The Boston Globe on July 26, 2005 quoted Romney saying, “I am pro-life. I believe that abortion is the wrong choice except in cases of incest, rape, and to save the life of the mother. I wish the people of America agreed, and that the laws of our nation could reflect that view. But while the nation remains so divided over abortion, I believe that the states, through the democratic process, should determine their own abortion laws and not have them dictated by judicial mandate.”[216] At the May 2007 Republican Presidential debate in South Carolina, Romney stated that “Roe v. Wade has gone to such an extent that we’ve cheapened the value of human life.” He followed by saying “the people should make [the abortion] decision, not the court.”[201] Romney’s spokesperson has indicated that had Romney been the governor of South Dakota, he would have signed into law the controversial law banning abortion, but he would include exceptions for cases of incest or rape, which the South Dakota law excludes.[217]”

The fact that he had to add some pretty wacko positions and at least one lie to is pretty indicative of how he couldn’t actually find *that* many similarities between Romney and Obama. Overturning birthright citizenship, ending free trade, and deporting all green cards isn’t exactly a conservative/evangelical litmus test last I checked.

There’s also a missing one here:

Used Earmarks To Produce Gay Porn Movie
Goode - Yes
Romney - No
Obama - No

Please reconsider your vote.
