Debates and Fact Checking

Question: Why doesn't FoxNews use one or more of it's cc streams during the debates to run a fact-check on what the pResident and Mitt say? I'd bet that with current technology they could provide the facts and ensure the truth doesn't just get swept aside. Think what a shot across the bow it would be for all subsequent debates (and "State of the Union" speeches, etc).

Even better: live voice analyzer displayed right under them, telling you whether they are telling the truth or not.

Simpler to have Congressman Wilson shout “You lie!” every time one of the candidates opens his mouth.

Political debates aren’t about telling the truth. They’re about who can tell the best lies.

Good one! And more effective, too.
