Jay Leno took some surprising shots at President Obama Thursday night.
During the opening monologue of NBC's Tonight Show, the host said Americans wasted four years for the current White House resident to do something about the economy (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

Wasted four years because it was politically incorrect (did not serve the Democrat Party) to complain about his handling of the economy or to point out that the numbers he cited were repeatedly bogus (and “readjusted” after the spotlight was off).
Jay Leno is obviously a racist.
Leno should have known a while back that you can’t put much stock in a guy who blames his incompetence or sabotage of our economy on other people.
If his cohorts get their way, they will waste 4 more years without any turning back.
Wow, he really sneaked it in there. But good on him for not being an empty headed parrot.
Jay must have gotten an ugly 401K statement...
..."I love how the politicians capitalize on this kind of thing," teased Leno. "Like the minute the replacement refs were fired, President Obama said, 'See, sometimes losing jobs can be a good thing. It's a good thing.'"
It’s not the waiting that was a waste, it was the belief and expectation that he was competent to do anything about it in the first place.
Every person who voted for Obama was either ignorant of our situation or genuinely stupid.
I imagine that giving up half his salary to keep his show going had some affect on him. :)

Looks like NBC has been given their marching orders against the white house.

Reminds me of what FLIP WILSON said about Jimmy Carter.
“I don’t know why everyone is down on the President (Jimmy Carter) about the economy. He ain’t done nothing!” Howls of laughter from the audience.
It will be interesting to see, if other TV personalities like Leno follow suit. If he loses that group, then obama is surely toast.
I think he sees the 75% tax rate looming on the horizon and realizes he has a lot to lose.
It could be that 50% pay cut he was handed a couple months ago.
Leno has wasted time having Obama on his show.
Well, it IS true that the Resident keeps caddies employed...
