Bizarre Clip Of The Week: Bagel Head Surgery.. Trend Is Growing In Japan
You Tube ^ | September 28, 2012 | CheckMediaOut

Xenophenomena, the new fad of people watching the crazy things foreigners do have been mesmerized by the new Japanese craze called 'Bagel Head Surgery'.

The Japanese having been depressed lately that they are now have only recently become the third largest economy being overshadowed by China have gotten into a funk where they are becoming increasingly detached, bored with everyday Japanese customs and preoccupations , bored with with eating raw fish, fugu, playing video games, tired of social websites, eating whale bacon, are now taking out their frustration by going bit too far with this new Bagel Head Surgery phenomenon that I don't see them getting much mileage out of.

TOPICS: Society; Weird Stuff
KEYWORDS: bizarre; napl
I've read at the YouTube site a commenter saying that the bagel head effect doesn't last long and eventually dissipates back to normal flat-headed yellow-tinged foreheads so the Japanese need not worry.

Wow, maybe all those aliens on star trek with weird foreheads are just Japanese who went into space...

Sad. An ancient culture lost in a miasma of self-absorption and nihilism so deep they don’t even breed anymore.

And the results only last 16 to 24 hours. WTF??
One HAS TO ask: WHY DO IT??

It’s our fault because we dropped the bomb on them. Obama will apologize soon.

UNPOPULAR COMMENT:

I honestly think this is less scary than drawing a picture on your body that will last YOUR ENTIRE LIFE and be there even after you are dead.

In 30 years we will have the WORST LOOKING old people on planet Earth.

To me a tattoo is like a nightmare —CANNOT ERASE.

In Japan you can look stupid for ONE DAY AND THEN STOP.

Meat that comes from the belly of the animal that is eaten is called bacon. It’s still a staple in major areas of Japan. It’s sliced very thin and goes for about $5.

It should be added so people don't think they kill whales out of sheer cruelty ... it's delicious. Only had it once in a tempura restaurant in Ginza but (God forgive me!) it was really good.

Greenpeace already has you IP and GPS. Better leave now when the going is still good. Do you know how many times they brought in that Anti-Muslim video director?

So how does whale bacon taste?

Or, to ask a more interesting question, why is Japan so uniquely weird? What is up with the weirdness? Did this tendency exist in pre-war Japanese culture? First it was Godzilla and then it kind of snowballed from there. But why? Why does Japan have gameshows where contestants are kicked in the groin by robots?

No doubt someone has researched this subject in depth.

One of the most difficult challenges of middle age; explaining to your grandchildren what that O-Z-Z-Y tattooed on your knuckles means.

The source of their weirdness is quite obvious. They were alien vacationers who arrived around 40,000 BC who after chasing down a whale and found it delicious decided to stay.

In cultures like that where everyone looks alike, they now have to find a way to be different. When I was in South Korea in the 70’s, the goal was to get their (women) eyes cut to look like Americans (also referred to as round eyes). It’s too bad because these are some of the most beautiful people in the world.

Looks like they are giving themselves subcutaneous fluids.
We do this in dehydrated pets (except place the fluid bolus
between the shoulder blades). This is in place of hospitilizing a pet with IV fluids when they aren’t in serious condition, but still need a fluid boost. Pets have loose skin, and the fluid is absorbed overnight.

On rare ocassions, there can be an infection from the fluids, and all the skin (over the fluid area) has been known to slough off. Hope this doesn’t scar up anyone’s face.

Rush Limbaugh used to say: "Who does Michael Jackson think is weird?"

Seriously, what do the Japanese consider "weird"?

Do they see someone walking down the street with a bagel forehead, and just shrug?

I've heard about Head Knockers before but never knew what it referred to.

Which is worse:

Killing one whale to feed a few thousand people,

or

Killing a few hundred pigs to feed a thousand people?
