This is pretentious crap IMO.
The National Anthem was in there somewhere among the utter crap. The only worst rendition was done by Roseann Barr.

Conning people into artificially ‘inflating’ the band’s ‘hit count’ is NOT ‘patriotic’, NOT entirely ‘honest’ and generally classless.

I am often bemused when some Freeper sends out a call like ‘Here’s a Poll that needs Freeping; let’s all pile on !’ I find that fundamentally flawed and inappropriate behavior. The results are predictable and utterly irrelevant.
In this instance, the ONLY reason the site you linked to seems to exist is to garner ‘synthetic hits’ in an attempt to artificially inflate the perceived ‘importance’ of the band.
It would have more ‘honest’ if you had mentioned this, up front, in your solicitation. Your NOT doing so was a large component in my original complaint.
Now, you’re perfectly free to post whatever you’d like, subject only to moderation by the Site’s Administration. My comments were NOT intended to ‘suppress’ your participation; merely to express how I perceived the merits of this particular posting.

I did not post in order to garner hits for the site. I linked to the place that I had seen the video. I was not “soliciting” hits; I did not even think of that. So, calling me dishonest because I did not announce such a thing is uncalled for.
The entire point of this thread was to share something I thought was interesting and patriotic. There was no hidden agenda, as you seem to believe. The fact that you pinged humblegunner tells me all I need to know about yours.
I will not post another thread involving a link to anything. I do not need to be accused of manipulating others. So, your tactics worked.
To everyone; this was intended as a bit of patriotic entertainment, not a hit generator.
