I keep hearing the newsfolks quoting poll results which "show" that Obama is quite in the lead. I know about oversampling one group or the other. I simply cannot believe, other than the Obamaphone hopelessly stupid permanent welfare parasites, that people can see their healthcare costs go up, gasoline costs go up, U.S. ambassadors murdered and outright lied about, president bowing to other heads of state, president caught on tape promising to basically hand over America to other countries after the election, U.S. debt increased by the trillions of dollars during this president's term, the education of our children being co-opted by ignorant agenda-driven minions of this president, the alienation of allies by this president, the continued insults to our military by this president, the conversion of NASA to an agency directed to search for good things Muslims have done (that would be a short list!), the destruction of our military might leaving us vulnerable, the increase in unemployment, the decreasing of the median household income by more than 7%, us being made a laughingstock to the rest of the world, our Constitution being trampled on in innumerable ways, etc. etc. etc. and still scream "Obama" at his rallies as though he were a rock star.

What is going on? Are these polls the baloney I think they are?

Unless something changes..it will be a little bit worse than the last time. If Obama checkerboards the midwest (as it looks like he will) it will be over by 11:00 Eastern time.

Based on what I have discovered talking to people, they will tell you how bad obama is, but they are stilling going to vote him.
The most common thing they say is “we need to give him a chance”.
(I think that really means, he is black he is doing the best he can.)

I don’t believe any of this either.

Ok, I’m well prepared to believe that people who are getting “obama phones” and think that any woman who is attending Georgetown Law School can’t pay for her own birth control will vote for Obama in droves. Except the first cohort are unreliable voters (although there are many of them) and the second cohort just isn’t that large.

Mitt Romney will be an OK president, at the very least. Compared to Obama he will be a great president.

I don’t believe the polls, I do believe it might be way closer that we’d like to think.

I’m afraid I no longer believe the closeness is because of whatever, WHATEVER, deficiencies in ideology or general political skills Romney can be charged with.

For the future of this country Obama MUST be rejected, and then we must continue the hard work to undo the progressive agenda that has held sway in this country for at least 100 years; and which has had champions of both parties over that time. Notable Republican “progressives” include our own beloved Teddy Roosevelt and “Fighting” Bob LaFollette of Wisconsin.

And please, don’t tell me about the “good wars” of days gone by. We are going to be into a “bad war” time, whether we like it or not. Whether Romney wins or not.

A “bad war” with the jihadis at least, maybe many bad wars.

I don’t see a way around it.

It is the pass to which the progressives, of all parties and stripes, have brought us.

For what it's worth, I have never seen the like of black people for making excuses for one of their own. There seems to be NOTHING that another black person can do that they will not come up with an excuse for. Look at Marion Barry, Charles Rangel, Maxine Waters, Jessie Jackson, Jr., Emanuel Cleaver, Gregory Meeks, Alcee Hastings, etc. They keep getting reelected time after time, despite major corruption issues.

I was posted in a 92% black high school a couple of years ago, and I saw the same pattern. No matter what serious infraction was committed by a student, everyone was ready with one of the above excuses. Therefore, there was no accountability, it was never their fault. There were few if any consequences and therefore, they never changed. They just kept on pulling the same stuff.

All day on 6 Nov, the “media” will attempt to demoralize us with glowing “exit polling” that will show Little Boy Zer0 leading by 20-25%, even in places like Idaho.
But even if that night is for all intents and purposes the final death knell for America as we knew her... celebrate her life and the great run she had by getting out and voting anyway.
One thing Liberals hate as much as anything is to have to earn something. Make then EARN this by having to pour their fat, lazy parasitic asses off the couch and casting a ballot.
We need to send a clear message to the corrupt ruling elite that there are still enough of us to make their day very nasty when they make their attempt to abridge our freedoms.
Downticket races still matter. So, regardless of the state of the presidential race, let`s keep pushing to elect good people at all levels.
Let`s not let the filth of the darkside dissuade us. While we still have elections, let`s make our voices heard. The many hundreds of thousands of America`s best young men and women who died in wars past and present would want it that way.

The target audience for those 200 “polls” is us... Conservatives, GOPers, Patriots.. they want to depress our turnout not only for the presidential election, but for the downticket races as well. With the Senate balance likely staying in their grip (probably 50-50 with Biden breaking the tie), the darkside wants the House back, too.
