I heard this parody of Harry McClintock's song from the depression era, "Big Rock Candy Mountain," this morning on WROV out of Roanoke, Virginia, on the way into the office.
I thought it was hilarious. Fess up, which of you FReepers is responsible, lol? Has to be a FReeper.
The only half conservative movie Clooney was ever in...
There was a movie by this name? I’m not a big moviegoer. If something strikes me I’ll download or rent it and view it at home for the most part.
That song was in the movie Brother Where Art Thou...
Oh, I saw that. Don’t recall “Big Rock Candy Mountain” being on the soundtrack though.
Good one
It was the first song played during the opening sequence.
bump!
Thanks. Probably shouldn’t have posted this right at the beginning of the presidential debate last night, it’s funny and actually a pretty good parody. Most everybody missed it.
It was quite funny, I actually made a bump because I wanted to get back to the thread on my laptop. I hate typing on those little mobile phones! Your video reminded me of something my niece showed me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yJCNNwHUOE
