Orlando Cruz from San Juan, Puerto Rico and ranked the No4 featherweight by the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) has openly admitted his is "a proud, gay man".
He added: "I've been fighting for more than 24 years and as I continue my ascendant career I want to be true to myself. I want to try to be the best role model I can be for kids who might look into boxing as a sport and a professional career. I have and will always be a proud Puerto Rican. I have always been and always will be a proud, gay man."

Will the media now proclaim it gay bashing when someone kicks his butt in the ring?
I was just thinking that. I would not want a homosexual’s blood on me or anywhere around me.
Floats like a butterfly......
It's the end of his career! No fighter with any brains left would take a chance on Aids, Hep, or whatever ..................................................... FRegards
According to his bio he fights in the featherweight class.
“Ok fellas, I wanna have a fair fight, no rabbit punches, no pulling down of the trunks, no throwing of high heels, and no blowing of fairy dust in the eyes, or even threatening to scratch each other’s eyes out.
And if you don’t break when I tell you to, I am going turn the hose on ya’s.”
Ummm, maybe not.
Meanwhile, in a related match....
You know, a FEMALE girl? The kind without the external plumbing we're familiar with on guys?
That is disturbing on SO many levels...
I’m actually surprised that there hasn’t been more of this.
Long ago my Dad was a police homicide photographer, and he told me that BY FAR the most stomach-churning, gory murder scenes that he encountered were those involving homosexual ‘couples’. Blood-covered walls, dismemberment, etc.
There’s apparently a huge, seething cauldron of rage out there, hidden under those ‘diversity’ rainbows.
I believe it. From what I hear, lesbianism ain’t like in the movies either.
As others have pointed out, it seems unlikely that other boxers will want to enter the ring with him - who’d want to risk the blood splatters?
Agreed. We’re told of the (Government-mandated) horrors we’ll face as healthcare workers if we get the slightest needle stick, yet we’re simultaneously told that we shouldn’t worry about ‘small amounts’ of bodily fluids we might encounter in public areas such as restrooms....that HIV transmission requires huge volumes of fluid to transmit, yet the amounts involved in sexual acts are not that great. There remains, in my view, a politically-motivated campaign of disinformation as far as HIV-related hazards are concerned.
I’m betting that now any boxer that refuses to get into the ring with this homosexual based on safety concerns will be branded an “ignorant homophobe” and will be blacklisted from boxing and everything else....and probably will be charged with a ‘hate crime’ as well, for daring to suggest that any form of safety concern exists involving a homosexual.
I’m glad that I’m not a boxer. Homosexuals are set to destroy that sport just like every other activity or career they become involved with and unleash the Lavender Mafia on.
