Good Morning America” weather anchor Sam Champion and his longtime boyfriend Rubem Robierb are engaged to be married. “We are thrilled and so excited and thank everyone for their good wishes,” Champion said. “I’ve never been happier to share a bit of personal news,” he tweeted.
Champion and Robierb met through mutual friends a few years ago in Miami, where Robierb lives. Robierb, who was born in Brazil, is a fine-arts photographer who shows his work in Miami, Atlanta, Santa Monica and New York. The two plan to wed later this year — possibly on New Year's Eve.
“Not everybody that gets married has kids. This world is over populated anyways. We should not be looking to compete with China in this department.”
Actually, it isn’t. We aren’t replacing people at a rate that would ensure that the US, Russia, or Western European cultures will survive.

While it may be true that all who marry don’t have kids, marriage was created for the sole purpose of creating families - a religious and social mechanism for having, protecting, and raising children.
Nowadays? Some marry for the insurance. Some marry because they are gay and don’t want people to know it (Down Low Club). Some marry to confiscate somebody elses financial assets. They used to marry for politics (still do, really).
Two adults who want to marry and not have kids? All kinds of (cheaper, especially for men) options. You want to raise a family? It takes a mom and a dad for the best probability of succeeding.

Maybe some one down this thread will have clued you into WHO gives US inalienable 'RIGHTS' that no man/government can give or take. Those rights are 'life, liberty and pursuit of happiness'. What does the Creator consider 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness'? He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because there was no 'life, liberty, or pursuit of happiness to be had in those cities.

But then again, I did have insider info going back 30+ years. My wife shared an apartment with Sam’s sister and another girl before we were married, so she knew about Sam *long* ago.
