ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. Authorities in Florida say a man flashed a fake gun and badge and demanded free fast food at a McDonald's drive-thru.

Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies say Joseph Pineda told employees Friday that he deserved free food, had just come from a sting and didn't have his wallet.

I’m confused

he’s in a car...
at macdonalds

macdonalds dollar menu costs... $1 per item.

get a double burger and a water... $1.07 (tax)

instead, he’s going to jail.

stunned at the limited mental capacity of today’s criminals (which I guess is a good thing)

“Man uses fake gun, badge to demand free food at McDonald’s”

How ridiculous. All he had to do was call Obama on the ObamaPhone.

Yes, some of the McDonald’s in the US, and around the world, would put a lot of fancy restaurants to shame...with their decor

One of the most modern and fancy McDonalds I have ever been in was in a small town in Texas. It actually looked like the one in your photo (the first photo)

Off the A3 Autobahn in Germany, in a Service Area (Rasten & Tanken), there is a McDonalds that is like a fancy sophisticated cafe (A fancy McCafe)

McDonalds, unlike a lot of restaurants, is actually making money during the recession. Their food is basic, but they keep it cheap, kid friendly, and have really updated and upgraded their restaurants....worldwide
