I don’t think Mr. Graham should waste his remaining days on earth trying to defuse Romney’s mormonism among believers in Christ.

Each can weigh in their own conscience the balance between voting for a man who is a bishop in a cult vs. sitting the election out.

“Do you get that in 1 month, literally, YOU and your family will be forced to agree that speaking out against sin (ie homosexuality, criticizing Muslims) is considered hate speech, and later will be considered a crimianl act. You will be under progressive penalties, later on including violence against your family (ie see Egyptian Christians currrently). If you’re not going to vote for Mitt, quit wasting my time.”

That’s very unlikely. What is more likely is an economic collapse either this year or next year. And I am not voting for Mittens.

“It doesn’t mean that they approve of Mormonism (they all have said it doesn’t). “

Then why do you want a Christian icon to endorse Mitt Romney? If it’s not to send the message that it is “OKAY” to vote for the MORMONISM, then what is it for then?

He’s been doing Crusades for 60 years. A lot of counselors come up front during the invitation.

Did you vote for Reagan? W. Bush? McCain?

Or were you one of those that voted for Carter because he was a Sunday School teacher, even though his beliefs are anti-Christian?

I have never voted Democrat in my life. That’s one of the reasons why I can’t support Mitt Romney.

whenever I see these sort of “the candidate needs to meet with so and so” or some specific group, I immediately think of the political left, or the mob.

Seriously... by touting this sort of nonsense you are painting a group of people (using your ex. “evangelicals”) as unable to think for themselves, without hearing some decree from their leader.

it’s the “ends justifies the means” campaign that ends up with Wellstone Memorials

I am a Christian and a conservative, and I will tell you that specifics of theology DO count for me. The main reason I will vote for Romney is his stand for Israel. I don’t think God is happy with either choice we have, but I do feel most Christians will hold their nose AGAIN and vote.

Next election will be different, so the Tea Party needs to get busy!

Whoa Nelly.....
Not so fast...
I get that Graham is a religious figure of some import but when he gave Bubba Clinton a “pass” for adulterous indiscretions...
He shot his wad....so to speak.....

Well, you have a lot of “Christians” that are thinking that they shouldn’t support Romney because of his Mormon faith. Some right here on this thread.

Is that the kind of independent thinking that you so admire?

.

Hmmmmm ...

Anyway, the most important thing is not Mr. Graham so much, but to reassure the evangelical base.

Let's see ... we Evangelical Christians want Rev. Billy Grahmn to endorse ...

"Myth Romney" ... the self-procalimed Celestial God-Child from the ...

"Severely Conservative" MORMON Planet Kolob in the Constellation Cancer ...

where MORMON prophet Joseph Smith (now a genuine god) lives ...

Joseph Smith ... undoubtedly STILL proclaiming that he is the "Second Mohammed" ...

called to bring a Sword of VIOLENT DESTRUCTION against the American Evangelical Christian Church ...

and then formet REVOLUTION to replace the U.S. Constitutional Republic ...

with a MORMON THEOCRACY ...

That's Right Folks ... expect Rev. Billy Grahamn to make that political endorsement any minute now ...

/sarcasm-off

Bob Jones III officially endorsed Mitt Romney before. Following is a direct quote.

"As a Christian I am completely opposed to the doctrines of Mormonism," Jones told the newspaper. "But I'm not voting for a preacher. I'm voting for a president. It boils down to who can best represent conservative American beliefs, not religious beliefs."

Do you understand that supporting Mitt Romney against Obama is supporting moderate conservative values vs. liberal humanism?

I have read that LBJ was Graham's favorite president. Graham was sure nowhere to be found in Nixon's times of travail.

Actually, I think everything after the old testament is a swindle, with varying degrees of malevolemce.

I put some of the “christians” in exactly the same bin as the mohammedans. In denial of God.

Think the only way to God is through Jesus, huh? Don’t think the old man might have a thing or two to say about usurpers?

You’re going to have to add large portions of the Old Testament too to your “swindle” file.

Isa 53:7-11 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. (8) He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. (9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. (10) Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. (11) He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Are you particularly dense or something?

I said everything after. Your wrangling with the old testament I haven’t even considered, and I’m not going to aither.

So, anyway. Good luck in getting rid of The Lord’s Prayer. It would seem to circumvent your Jesus-union closed shop fantasy.

Thanks for the link, it basically settles my questions on Graham, unfortunately.

I have no idea what you are ranting about. But I think I’ll read through the illustrious prophecies of the Messiah while you do it, though. It seems to upset you.
