Okay, here it is! The James Bond opinion survey you're wanting!
The James Bond Franchise . . . | 10/7/12 | Jim

Posted on 10/07/2012 2:24:33 PM PDT by righttackle44

I know you've been waiting for someone to ask this. Who, of the 66 bond girls so far (three girls x 22 films)should James Bond have married and settled down with?

With all due respect to Tracy--Countessa Teresa Di Vicenzo, "Tracy Draco", Bond's beloved deceased wife, played by Diana Rigg--and the un-named Kissy Suzuki, played by Mie Hama--who should be the real Mrs. Bond?

And I'm not talking about considering the acting ability of the actress playing the part, or your personal hate for her.

And you need not name only one--nothing unseemly implied here. I know some of you guys. LOL.
As for me, I see him with someone little and cute.

I can see him happily sitting on the front lawn with Jinx Johnson (Halle Berry) from Die Another Day, as they try to get their son to walk back and forth between them.

Or Kara Milovy (Maryam d'Abo) from The Living Daylights, getting James out of bed so they can go to the grocery store because she doesn't yet have her UK driver's license.

Or Manuela (Emily Bolton) from Moonraker, in bed, kissing him awake because she wants to make love again before they have to get the children off to escola.

Or Dr. Christmas Jones (Denise Richards) , The World Is Not Enough, as they shower together so she can go to work and do nuclear bomb kinds of things, and he can get to his world-wide enterprise that he actually named Universal Imports. But he must drop the twins off at daycare before getting to the office.

I thought about Anya Amasova, Triple XXX, (Barbara Bach) The Spy Who Love Me. Except I figure she'd never want to leave the spy business.

So enjoy the challenge. You KNOW you've been wanting to answer this question for decades. Thanks for doing so.

IMHO that was an extremely unrated movie. The villian, intelligent politico type, Robert Davi, was excellent and Talia Soto was real hot. I think the problem was that Dalton did not promote the file enough. And he was a really good Bond, too. He actually read the books and was probably closet to the literary version of the character.

Great pic..thanks...just goes to show how what today is a modest bathing suit..not a thong in sight..is incredibly sexy.

BTW.."Dr. No" was published in 1958. The chapter in which Bond sucks the scorpion fish venom from her foot is titles "How to Eat a Girl." I think I was 12 when I read the book..didn't understand the double entendre on whit.

Kinder, gentler, simple times..today,. I expect my 6 y.o. grandson could explain it to me if I dare asked..

Ah, but as we learned later, she had to wear that outfit, because about every 45 minute the Lotus stalled, and she had to crawl under the car, or under the "bonnet", to fix something. It was a stylish mechanic's overalls...that's all.

So I guess LUCAS was finally good for something..

No problem. I think I’ve seen all the movies, but have not read any of the books. Are they good reads?

P.S. Don’t ask your grandson.

Miss, Monetpenny (Lois Maxwell) of course. Attractive not slutty, intelligent and knows everything before Bond does plus also knows where the bodies are buried.

I know British cars are finicky, but they're fun to drive when they run.

A newer Lotus... belongs to a friend up in PA. Constantly in the shop.

The early ones..the first 5 or 6..are good reads....and if you can find a hard copy, with a dust jacket...it's worth a fair amount of $$$$..depending on condition..

More importantly..how about them Gators?...great win...the game against SC is gonna be something..#3 in the AP poll..a HUGE jump up from #10. The first BCS results come out tonite..be interesting to see if they jump up that high..I'm still not 100% convinced about Muschamp as a coach. I think it's no coincidence that the offense, especially the QB..is looking good..since they got the new coordinator from Boise State..I forget his name...but I'll wager you a Gatorade that he gets a head coaching gig sonewhere next year..

I’ll take Daniella Bianchi (Tatiana Romanova in From Russia With Love - Charming! Charming!) any day. Well, on second thought Eva Green was okay. Incidentally, From Russia With Love was the personal favorite of Ian Fleming and Sean Connery and it had the best fight in movie history. From the first blow, you just knew it was a fight to the death. Epic:

I was very happy with the result. We still have Georgia, USCar., and FSU to play. If we can win those games, we’ll probably have to play Alabama in the SEC Championship game. That’s a rough schedule. I think they have exceeded expectations so far this year.

Absolutely..look, Oregon will stay at #2..they should win out.I'm not worried about UGA..Richt's a lousy coach..what are they..2-8 against top 10 ramked teams in the last 4 years..? Game against the Spurriers will be awesome..glad it's a home game for us..Gamecocks could well lose at LSU next Sat....Miles will tear them a new one this week..don't know if Carolina will be more dangerous if they win or lose at LSU..

Seminoles will be really dangerous at home, last game of the season. They know they blew any chance at playing for the national title..so for them..their "championship game" is against Gators..they'd love to knock us off.

BCS championship game should be Oregon against SEC champ..

My fear is that we win out, lose a close one to Bama in the SEC championship..say a late FG or a disputed play..or it go against Bama...Gators win..but they'll never have a rematch for the title game.

THat's why the new 4 team ( maybe more sooner) format will be very good..if iut was that way this year, you could have Bama, Bengals, Gators, and Ducks in the semifinals..

Good analysis. My only point of disagreement is that the Ducks could lose. The play away at USC, and must face OSU as well. Both are dangerous games.

Definitely Kara Milovy:

She and Dalton’s Bond had the most plausible chemistry of any Bond girl/Bond combo in the series.

Ducks have yet to be tested. They are really, REALLY good, and FAST. They haven’t been tested yet..Washington was way overrated at #23 before the game..I can’t see them losing to Oregon State. The USC game could be a tough one...
