Clooney and Stacy Keibler look politically polished for Obama fundraiser in LA

He's the unofficial president of Hollywood, and many believe a future politician in the making.

And George Clooney, 51, looked the part for tonight's high profile fundraiser for President Barack Obama held at the Nokia theatre in LA.

He was joined by his girlfriend Stacy Keibler, 32, who was stunning in a fitted turquoise blue dress paired with nude Louboutins, very much in the vein of a politician's wife.

The pair have laughed off a split story in recent weeks to emerge stronger than ever, and if Clooney does have any intention of running for office, he has surely found his ideal partner.

He and all american Keibler have been entertaining George's friends in the political media sphere over the summer at his getaway on the banks of Italy's Lake Como.

They certainly make a great team.

Keibler clapped heartily when Clooney appeared on stage, he was joined by Stevie Wonder, Katy Perry and Earth Wind and Fire.

The President remarked that they all always perform 'flawlessly' before adding 'I can’t always say the same' in a reference to his disappointing debate form with Republican Mitt Romney, as the crowd roared.

Before Obama arrived at the theatre, Stevie Wonder led the crowd in chants of Barack the Vote and sang a rendition of his hit Superstition but changed part of the lyrics to Barack Obama for Four More Years.

Stevie Wonder should have stopped at “Fingertips” which, admittedly, was a great song.Everything he’s done since then has been pig swill.

I attended college with George Clooney (NKU, not UK).

He wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer...when he actually showed up for class, that is.....

Got to wonder how much Keibler is being paid to be Clooney’s escort?

Better pay than being a wrestler I guess. Maybe she’ll even get a house

But at 32-33 she is approaching the end of her shelf life with the “president of hollywood” and should soon be deciding whether to be an aging single woman in an industry of under 30-lovelies, or looking for a man who is willing and able to fertilize her eggs

She's getting paid with the additional exposure. Her political correctness will open certain doors. With personal trainers, good nutrition and plastic surgery women can look good into their 40’s these days. I'll bet she drew the line at watching Barry and George make out backstage.

I posted a vanity thread yesterday: assuming that Hillary doesn't run in 2016, just who could the Dems nominate?

There aren't a lot of viable possibilities, the Dems have a very week bench...so maybe the DailyMail is onto something..Clooney might be their best option...

Michael Douglas is ill, and Martin Sheen..well..the idea of Charlie Sheen in the WH won't fly

The comments left are nauseating. All these people following, glitz, glamour and image, like its the most important thing on earth. The way they talk, you'd think they actually know George, and Jon and Stacy.

(said in an overly excited teenage girls voice...except she's 54): George and Stacy look so wonderful together. He's so generous and she's so generous. They're both really wonderful people. I hope they stay together FOREVER...and have puppies...and kitties.

The shallowness of the left knows no bounds. No wonder we were stuck with this doofus.

I think Evan Bayh is in the wings.

Providing Obama gives up the reigns.

Several people suggested that. The problem is that you have to go hard left to win in a Democrat primary..Bayh would draw several liberals into the race..
