A woman and her accomplice were caught on tape taking a 6-month-old goat named Billy from a California petting zoo in the middle of the night. They later returned him with his nails painted pink.
Call her the pedicure bandit.
A woman was caught on tape stealing a goat from a California petting zoo on Sunday, which she later returned — after painting its nails.
Billy the goat was taken from his enclosure at the PB Pumpkin Patch in San Diego’s Pacific Beach around 2 a.m. Sunday, and the whole heist was captured on surveillance cameras.
In the video, a ponytailed young woman can be seen scaling a fence and scooping Billy up, who she then carries off into the night.
She and her fellow goat burglar, who can also be seen on the tape, later dropped the 6-month-old animal off in perfect condition, sporting a hot pink pedicure.
“We’re OK that we have our goat back,” Darryl Dadon, the owner of the pumpkin patch, told San Diego’s ABC 10 News. “We’re not OK that they jumped the fence and stole our goat.”
Nothing else appeared to have been taken from the property.
Dadon says the good-natured goat is very popular with the staff, and he can almost understand why someone would want to take him home.
“[He] jumps on your lap and kisses you. He’s really sweet,” he said. “He’s almost like a dog.”
Dadon said now that he has his goat back, he is not interested in pressing charges, though the goat still bears the scars of its abduction.
“We’ve tried to remove [the polish] but it’s not coming off,” Dadon told The Huffington Post.
As far as Dadon is concerned, the burglars likely got what they deserved and don’t need further punishment. “[Goats] go to the bathroom a lot,” he told ABC. “I can only imagine what their house looks like. It’s kind of karma for them.”

BTW how far are you from Indianapolis? One of our good helpers husband has been given a promotion with a move in the works to there. Looks like we will lose her.
